Preeti’s comments from the Nothing But Reading Challenges group.

I am currently reading books numbered 3, 7 and 8.

I have added a book whose cover is more than 60% pink and contains Piano in the text. It also works for #1 in a series.

I have a #7 coming up soon.

If anybody has The Appeal by Janice Hallett, that works for the paperwork task as the description says "In the run-up to the trial, two young lawyers sift through the material—emails, messages, letters—with a growing suspicion that the killer may be hiding in plain sight. The evidence is all there, between the lines, waiting to be uncovered."
My online library only has the novella which followed it. I have to see if my other library has this one but that will take me a day or two.

Sadly, I don't think it will work. I reread the ending and remembered what had me so confused about this book. The reveal of the antagonist was so very anti-climatic and abrupt. The only paperwork involved was a spell book belonging to the victim which also contained the deals that she had made with various residents of the town. The antagonist was one of the only people whose name was not in the spell book as she had never made any deals but she did want the spell book for herself which is why she committed the crime.

I have completed Ulysses. I will get back to you about the cozies in a few minutes. I had to get home and check the 1st book... to be honest, I have forgotten the plot of the 1st one and the other 2 don't qualify. 🙁

Also, I didn't realise while adding my books that Ulysses means I go past my overflow number of books. Please delete One Smart Witch. It has the least number of pages and doesn't work for any of the mini challenge tasks. Thanks and sorry for the bother.

I have added my completed books, 2 of which work for many of the items listed. I also have one last book, Ulysses, which I will definitely be done with by tomorrow.

For the task, Deadhead: contains a repeat set of at least two letters, do the letters have to be in the same word or can it be like "Change Agent" which contains 2 sets of "GE"? Thanks.
