35559 Read a book where there is a tight deadline :

The English Assassin would work. Without too many spoilers.....a hired killer has to murder someone at a very specific time or he will lose his only chance.

35559 The monster section looks good! It will even help me a lot as I like to refer back and always seem to miss something while I'm scrolling.

I 'third' the suggestion to have a list of HP gainers.

35559 I know this has been asked before....but is the "first page of top shelves" the same as the title page? Or when you click on "see top shelves" (this seems like an obvious question, but just want to be positive before I find one).

35559 Question about Everybody Lies,
Can we redeem our "heal to your max hp" during a battle if we wait the week? or does it have to be before we start a battle?

35559 Have a book that is set in the plains and/ or one that's mainly set in the woods for 3ish gold? I have books but I just really don't feel like reading them any time soon.

35559 Discussion Questions 23rd December

33. This section opens with some graphic fight scenes, which I found slightly incongruous but incredibly vivid. What did you think?

I also found them vivid, but there were some brutal scenes when they first went into the woods so not too incongruous to me.

34. The reveals about the Wood, first marrying into humanity to try a different save her people then being bricked up alive... Does that change how you feel about the Wood? How?
I did feel terrible for her and FINALLY understood her wrath. The people had killed her family and people and she wanted revenge. At lease she had a good motive unlike some others in the book.

35. The Wood Queen's sister helps defeat the Wood Queen... I can't imagine how hard it must have been for Lilyana (sorry if I got the spelling wrong, am absent from my copy of the book) to watch her sister's pain and then try to stop her. What do you think? Should she have been more active in helping her sister?
I think she understood that she needed to help all her people even if it was at the cost of her sister.

36. The ending; satisfying or a cop-out? Did you think the Dragon would behave like that?
Nope didn't like it. I did love the whole scene with the wood queen and her family and such. But then Agnieszka is skipping around feeding dangerous beasts and cutting down trees? Hmmm seemed very incongruous. And nothing about the Dragon surprised me at the end ;) He just needed some time to come to terms with his new feelings/situation.
