35559 I’ve got to start planning better. I have a whole stack of library books that I got before the challenge started. I just need to go through them and plan out what will work best for what.

I looked at the team rankings and we are blowing the other teams away WHOOHOO!

35559 Mine is definitely not suitable for a class it’s about a girl who survived the Rwandan massacre and was granted asylum in the US. Very good book just not good for the classes unfortunately.

35559 The spreadsheet looks fantastic! Thanks Morgan for all your hard work on it. It's not easy putting something like that together.

Thanks Sonia for putting together a more detailed thread on the classes because right now they are about as clear as mud to me lol

BTW I'm reading a book that could work for "C" right now. I'm hoping to finish it tonight or early tomorrow morning. It would great if we could get the first spell completed.

We are awesome!!!

35559 We've all done it! I always double check who I'm texting because I'm so paranoid about getting the wrong person.

I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day!

Morgan-excellent news about the baby! What a gift to have happen on all days. It sounds like they are both doing well. Please keep us informed. I'll keep the prayers coming!

Sweet! Everyone knows their pecking order! I have some friends who have eight cats (yes eight not a typo). They all know their pecking order. The oldest and most frail cat is in charge and they certainly listen to her its funny to watch them.

That's so cool how he crawled in the pet door. They just know somehow...

I love stories like that. Cats just seem to know which house or person to go to. I have a soft heart for them. I wish I could have more!!! The more the merrier but Ciara would NEVER stand for it lol

Cats are wonderful! So much fun! I've been looking at cat shaming on Pinterest and it just cracks me up some of the stuff that they do.

Yes, very happy with the results of yesterday's game!

I'm going to start ttfn by Lauren Myracle for the "T". I also started The Chemist by Stephenie Myers but I feel that would work better as a points book on its own because it's 512 pages. Plus, I'm itching to complete something quickly and ttfn should be a quick read.

WOW that sounds serious! Poor baby! Please keep me posted on his improvement and I'll keep praying for both of them. It's so difficult when they are so little for multiple reasons. I bet he's a fighter! I can't believe she had him 7 minutes later talk about short labor hahaha at least that part was easy. I'm sure your friend probably feels guilty because of them both having the influenza but it is NOT her fault in any way shape or form. She's going to need reassurance on that. You're a good friend!

I agree plus it will give you and the co-captains the opportunity to apply the books where they will most benefit us.

35559 Hello Everyone,

I apologise for my tardiness on posting on here my introduction. I've been feeling a little under the weather and have been just lying about trying to finish the book I was reading before the challenge starts not realising that the challenge starts right this very moment. The book is done and dusted and I am ready to start this challenge.

To begin with here is my shelf for the challenge:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

Ok where do I start? I love to read most anything except for heavy science fiction. Last year I think I read 203 books or somewhere around there and I set my goal at 207 for this year of which I've read 75 so far.

This is my first tower team to participate in but not my first challenge on Goodreads. I did the Cutthroat challenge earlier this year and became instantly addicted.

I work full time about 50 hrs a week with an hour to hour and a half commute each way. Mon-Wed are my "long" days where I usually put in about 14 hrs a day when all is said and done.

I also am a baseball-aholic. Cannot get enough of it! Cubs are my first team and the Red Sox are my alternate when the Cubs aren't on. One of my favourite things to do is to watch a game and read a book at the same time. I get A LOT of reading done during baseball season haha

Not to be forgotten I have an extremely spoiled cat who eats up any free time I might have. There's always something she needs: tummy rubs, play with toys, eat, change the tv channel, etc. I love her wholeheartedly and would be lost without my best buddy. (I promise I am not the crazy cat lady!)

I look forward to getting to know all of you and having a very successful challenge! Please message me at any time you never know when I might be on here. Also, I'm pretty good at getting the job done if there's a tough book to find or read.

Best of luck everyone! I'm off to start my first book: The Chemist by Stephenie Myers. ;-D
