(view spoiler)[I too felt horrible when after the accident Aza went nuts trying to get the phone out of the trunk of the car but I also wondered at the same time why she was keeping it there if it was so important. Regardless, I know what that phone meant to her and I felt horrible. I feel like she should have snapped and just laid into Daisy for essentially causing the accident. What a terrible thing to do while someone is driving! I liked her character until that point. (hide spoiler)]

I definitely feel that John Green really has a handle on teenagers although it seemed there was something missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. I've read all of his other books and enjoyed them but this one was very different. It was John Green but a different John Green.

I would have liked to have seen Aza become a much stronger person at the end. I also would have liked to have seen her voice her opinions more. She seemed like a doormat when Daisy was yelling at her. I would have thought that she would have been mad. I would have told Daisy off when she said that everything was ok and that they were still friends. Friends don't yell the things she did at their supposed best friend from childhood.

I felt sorry for Davis and Noah, especially Noah. It was sad their Mom had passed away and then their Dad disappeared. I can't imagine having to live through that especially at such a young age. (hide spoiler)]
