I'm glad your classes are going well. I'm sure you have a heavy load this year with all the papers and whatnot. You'll ace it all I'm sure D-;
I have a bunch of words for two of my three books and a few for the other one. Would it be best to list them on here? I'm not sure I quite grasp the meal thing yet.
Lexi wrote: "No worries, Rebecca. I hope you are enjoying your reading."You too! How are your classes going?
I just wanted to let everyone know I’m here and I’m reading. I have 3 books to post when I can get to a computer for a few minutes. I made the mistake of starting the new Robert Galbraith book last week when it came out. I thought I could finish all 944 pages before we started this but I was clearly mistaken. Shame on me, I should’ve known not to make big plans like that with an author that always slows my reading down. The book is good, there’s just a lot going on to keep track of. I’m hoping to finish it this weekend although those might be lofty plans lol

Nice! Now I don’t have to mess with the library. Thanks!

I should have it in two weeks which is perfect timing. Do you remember if it had any food words in it? I'll probably pass on Circe I'm just not feeling it. You never know I might change my mind though when October rolls around.
I think this will be a really fun game once it gets rolling. I’m excited to be part of a new challenge
Thanks Lexi, that’s a little clearer. I agree we need a plan. I want to plan out some books ahead because I know the next few weeks at work are going to be nuts. I’ve been reading a 300-400 page book about every two days and I’m hoping to keep on that schedule. I know I’ll definitely be able to read my share of the 80 and possibly more if need be. I have loads of food oriented books in my TBR pile and am always adding more so I’m too worried about finding words for the scavenger hunt. I just want to make sure we have what it takes to make up the meals
Lexi, I know you mentioned that you’re going to read books mostly in the 300 page range maybe we should all do this. I guess what I’m most confused about is can you use a book for multiple words for the scavenger hunt? For example if you have all the words for tea in one book can you use that book multiple times for tea ie milk, sugar, lemon? Or do you have to have all the words in one book to use it once? I’m sure I’m making this more difficult than what it is

I am going to try to keep m..."I'd like to talk strategy just so I have a better understanding of how this is all going to work. We don't necessarily have to do it at this time but sometime before the start of the challenge would be great. Is there a good day for everyone? My schedule is completely wacky these days. Starting tomorrow I'm working until next Thursday when I have 3 days off, but if I know we are discussing on a certain day I will make sure that I am there to be part of it.
