I loved the book too, but you're right, the beginning was a bit slow. It was one of my favorites of the year so far though.

I started
yesterday. I'm not sure if it works for a cliff or not - but maybe? It seems like a cliff to me, just not as dramatic as the Cerulean one.

I have backups for those tasks if we need them.

Oh I just saw that Feast of Crows finish Vikki - wow nice job - that's a long book, and not a quick read because of the content too!

I'm reading Guards! if we need it for one of the Discworld bingo squares.
That's really fantastic that we are so close to being done with tasks!

Welcome back! Wow those are indeed curveballs - you have such a good attitude.

Welcome back Kaley. I agree - vacations are exhausting (but so good to do).

I finished
Boy's Life - thanks so much for the recommendation, Sammy. That was probably the best coming-of-age book I've ever read.

Steven, your sacrifice for the team is appreciated!!

i hope you are having a great time!!

Ouch - its not fair to get sunburned in shade! Your poor legs. Whenever I get burned, it just fades back to white, or turns into freckles. The curse of red hair I think. My husband and daughter and granddaughter get this lovely tan skin. But I've never gotten burned in shade before - those legs should have been safe.

Ready or not - it's here :) I'm a bit dismayed how fast summer is zooming by (as a teacher it's depressing!)

That is very hot! It is hot here too, and I think I will follow your plan. The way to take care of your niece is brilliant - then all can be happy :)

Have a great time Kaley!!

Haha eeek! I guess I'll be good. No drama here *whistles innocently*

Have fun Sammy!
Sonia's drama fixing plan almost makes me want to start some drama just to see the great pictures!

Thank you Sammy! I'm so glad you could fix my tech inadequacy!!
Sonia wrote: "I read a book yesterday!
I know... I'm as shocked as you!
:)"[image error]Well I failed at my whole image thing - that was supposed to be your Chris saying "I'm proud of you." The sentiment remains anyway :)
Sonia wrote: "Thank you Suzanne. It really is.
It also scrambled me so much that I can't seem to be able to read."Yes! You just do whatever you need, including lots of Chris Hemsworth!

Kayley I see that a lot too! I think some of the most explicit books I've read were marketed as YA. But with your example - wow even the characters are older. So weird.
