35559 Those sound interesting. I can see why they originally made it on the list.

35559 That one just seems intimidating to me, Sammy. Good job!!

35559 I changed my goal to instead of finishing series (because so many of those books are new) to finishing things on my TBR from 2012 to 2018. Thanks to the inspriation from this thread, I've already reduced that list by 200 books. Now I just need to read 100 more :)

I did finish The Shadowed Path A Jonmarc Vanhanian Collection (Chronicles of the Necromancer) by Gail Z. Martin which was my first by that author. I liked it. Felt like epic fantasy. It was on my list since 2016 - and a netgalley book - for shame!

35559 Kristina - that seems like a fantastic approach!

35559 That seems like a great plan.

I got through 350 this morning - not sure how many I deleted - maybe 50? But it was fun and kind of addictive.

35559 My goal was to keep up on/finish series so I've read a couple recent ones first. And then I did The Silver Chair which I hadn't read since I was a kid. I enjoyed it (and it was like reading a new book - I hadn't remembered a thing). I'm not done with Narnia yet, but I'm closer.

You all have inspired me to be more cutting with my TBR. Ugh - it's hard though - I guess I'm a "book dreams" hoarder! I think I'm going to try to examine 100 per day and see what I can delete. By now, it feels like a lot of those early ones I've never even heard of!

35559 Here is the cover for the book: To Woo A Warrior (Southern Sanctuary, #1) by Jane Cousins

I read that instead of finishing Exercised. I'm so sorry I couldn't do both - but I just finished grading finals last night at midnight. Today we have company coming - 4 humans, 2 dogs. AND my son is getting a new puppy. So...it'll be a fun day but not a reading one :)

I've enjoyed doing this challenge with all of you!

35559 I just finished Goddess of the Hunt. I was going to push to finish Exercised tomorrow, but I could read To Woo a Warrior, which has a character named Xander, instead. I'll kind of plan on doing that unless someone chimes in with an X.

That would maybe let us use some more books for word 5 right? Which would be cool.

jHey Suzanne - I just joined a challenge for next year for this same reason. It's called the "Stuck In A Rut" challenge and is based on reading books in a series. You can do both of them at the same time. Check it out!..."

Thanks Ranae! That seems like a really good combination.

35559 I took out the one book I hadn't started yet. I will finish all the others I have on there, but it's fine if you don't end up using them. I know there is a lot of juggling that you'll have to do with books!

Are there ways we can help?

35559 I've been mostly focusing on reading for the bonus tag - but if you want me to switch to letters like "I" just let me know. (That was why I read the one Ilona Andrews book - for the I - but I think the book was maybe shorter than you wanted.)

Looks like we're finishing out strong.
