Book of the Month The first book of the month is -it's a fun book if you enjoy fantasy. You don't need to sign up to participate in the discussion, and if you answer at least 3 days worth of daily questions you will get 20 participation points in addition to the book points. Signups are still open to ask daily questions for the second book of the month, which is and starts mid-May. There is also a backroom-book read which is pretty silly and very naughty (I haven't read it, but I can tell). So if you read erotica you may want to check out the backroom.

Please ask if you have questions about any of the above, or about anything else! I'm so excited to start.

I think RT07 is a good call - right it's right between orange and brown - just like the cover :)

Elinor - thanks for all the great comments and questions! I think with that cap removed, the free-for-all is back! :)

So in my opinion you could use that cover for brown - but team, what do you think? (We are just supposed to decide together for these.) I agree the orange pops out, but especially when I made the cover big and looked at it, I think there is more than 50% brown. And we have the TinEye backup opinion as well. That looks like a fun book!

Either of your examples works for the Winners prompts! In fact, I saw similar suggestions in the captains group. That's good creative thinking!

Good job getting your last Uno book done Elinor! My uno team still needs a lot but it has been fun. And I'm very much looking forward to Tower Teams.

I think what has really hooked me on Goodreads challenges is the amazing people I get to associate with. You are right Cris, so many fantastic talents and interests!

At the moment my notifications are working - but I HATE when they are not. I've missed some important things when they are broken.

Currently I have a google spreadsheet that lists my challenges with links, which lets me get to them easily. Then I try to just go to the thread once a day (if I'm captaining) to check just in case... I am loving the spreadsheet because I can also note books that I need to read for something.

But I'll never show my spreadsheet to Lisa because she'd just shake her head :)

Vi - you made it plenty clear! And we are all set now - thanks for your patience! And good luck with your company! That can be fun, but also consuming.

Ok so it's the second - if there is a print copy that lists a page # we will use that. But if a book is only on audio, then even if it is 20 hours long it will only count as 100 pages. (And it would have to be at least 3 hours long to count.)

Keli - that sounds like a good plan - we will use whatever you read - and you certainly don't need to stress about searching for color covers!

Unlike the last few years, there is no cap on the number of books we read - we can use everything our team manages to read! However, don't let that pressure anyone - let's enjoy ourselves. (Ha and win if we can.)

And wow - I'm SO happy a few of you have found mod books already for that tower. Way to go!

Lisa may have a better answer - but if you have a mod book you can read - say for Shannon. See how she has "MT13" in the first column (entitled "Ref")? What you would do is go to the "Books" tab of the spreadsheet and put in your book title and your name under "Read by" then under Mini Ref you can put MT13 and it'll fill the information into Mod Towers.

If that makes sense, give that a try and see if it works.

@Vi - when you have a chance, can you link your tower team shelf or just tell me the name of it? Sorry if I just somehow missed it!

Very smart! For me, getting a clear picture in my mind helps me feel less overwhelmed. Well and as a teacher, I adore questions.
