35559 We couldn't have an easy monster to vanquish?

35559 Btw, I am going to accomplish my two claimed tasks... just had to do a quick search and change course because I was being over optimistic with the size of the books. So.

My KU browsing returned this series: Pride of the Caribbean

The Boyfriend Cruise (Pride of the Caribbean, #1) by Deanna Wadsworth Vacation Tails (Pride of the Caribbean, #2) by Deanna Wadsworth Dream Vacation (Pride of the Caribbean, #3) by Deanna Wadsworth

Meaning, if they are as quick reads as I think they are, I can know both rope and boat with book #2, and the ship on cover with book #1.

I'll let you know tomorrow morning.

35559 Oh, I have one for swimming. Well, it's more send a car over a bridge by accident and then jump and swim to save the driver. But there is swimming for shore.

I just added it to the spreadsheet and was looking if it fit any of the pendent ones.

35559 We'll talk tomorrow then. All the Men of Honor books (but the last one) had their KU editions redone for covers with dog tags and rope. I was aiming for the re-read for the page count. But, if we already have a book for that, I can do the next in series. Who knows, maybe it's the push I need to get the last 3 done.

35559 I am stalling with the Mira Grant one... because I am enjoying some of the characters... and am dreading the blood bath that is bound to happen. But. I need to finish it eventually, so, I'll work on the boat one.

Go ahead with the rope if you want.

35559 I can also reread Ties That Bind (Men of Honor #3) by S.E. Jakes that will cover the other two, if needed be.

35559 Oh Oh... A monster for me!!!!! I'll try to finish Into the Drowning Deep (Rolling in the Deep, #1) by Mira Grant during the weekend.

It covers
2.) Read a book that takes place on a boat or ship.
3.) Read a book with a character who is deaf (any degree acceptable)
and
5.) Read a book with "Mermaid" in the text.

I am trying to at least sleep enough hours and eat proper meals. And cuddling with the kitties. And some family time, even if it is just watching a Goldbergs episode a day.

I do. It's crazy... I'm at this for 2 weeks and already having to coach 2 new resources and a junior. They never did software testing before... and now, they need to know how to analyze a specification, script a test and execute it. It's not bad... BUT... I don't know enough about the client's business requirements to explain some questions they have... not to mention that I have my own tickets to respond to.

I am totally busted by the time work day is done. Meh

35559 I might need to throw the towel at my snow + animal book. Not that the book is bad... is just that I can't seem to find time to read. I usually fall asleep in the middle of opening the kindle app.

35559 If I managed to actually find the energy to read, I will finish my Into The Drowning Deep book... It is on the page range.. However... with a boat, mermaids and a couple of deaf characters.... it is a book better suited to save for the Syrens.

35559 Yeah, I'm not sure I'll be able to read much. Between the new job, a work event this Friday, last week of school, and end of elementary school festivities, My week is all booked.

It doesn't help that sleep is starting to get affected too.

*shakes head*
