I'll be holed up at home for the weekend, but I do have to clean the house, so dunno yet how much reading I'll get done

I do too, to be honest He kinda kept losing sight of the bigger picture, especially in the 5th book

Yes! I kinda thought so too, especially when he gets older

I managed to fill my tank last night, before they ran out, and also grabbed enough food for me and my dog for a week at the supermarket. It's just surreal, I don't think I've ever seen things this bad in my lifetime
Posted my choices there as well.Things are crazy here in Brazil this week. I don't know how much of it made it into the international news, but truck drivers have been on strike since Monday. This means we're now facing fuel and food shortages, factories are shutting down, roads are being blocked...
Because of this, work has been crazier than usual, cutting into my reading time. I should finally finish a book today, though, so that's something
Team Luna Lovegood1. Severus Snape - I'm not going to comment on his teacher skills, as we only saw him through Harry's eyes. But I admire and respect him for the sacrifices he made, living a double life can't be easy, especially when it's your life on the line. I also like the glimpse of him we got through Harry's Potions book in the sixth year. If at sixteen he was already correcting Potions instructions, he's gotta excel at it as an adult who studied them his whole life.
2. Minerva McGonagall - I love her wit and her snark. I also loved how she protected her students (that scene where she discusses Harry's career choices with Umbridge in the room? One of the best scenes ever - have a biscuit, Potter.) Also, Maggie Smith.
3. Peeves - I'm still not over how he didn't make it into the movies. The unholy alliance between him and the Weasley twins was one of the highlights of the fifth book. Also, I loved how he could be used as an excuse to get Filch off someone elses's tracks.
Hm, perhaps the dragon fire as attack, I have a book called Lake Silence, perhaps the lake could b the defense?
I'm here :)Last week I was kinda swamped in manuscripts from the publishing hounse, none of which were good. I did finish Inferno, and finished that series.
As for classes, I don't know... I like Transfigurations and Potions, though I do believe I would be a disaster in Potions. I'm not cut out for Astronomy, I need to sleep LOL
to be honest, I didn't watch the whole thing. I woke up a few minutes before they signed the Register. I did feel underwhelmed by her dress, I was expecting something... more.
