Hi Danielle, Elizabeth, and Megan!

Megan - Weekends are busy for me too because my husband isn’t working and expects us to spend every minute together. LOL Congrats on the new home! It’s fun to decorate a new home.

Hi! I just saw our word to spell is jack o lantern. Not a short word like I hoped. LOL I looked through my upcoming books real quick and can complete the letters T, A, R, C, K and E easily. I’ll put those on hold until the challenge starts. Do we claim the letters before everything starts?

Yes, I’ll be finishing tomorrow. I started before I signed up for the challenge. It has been a challenge finishing the book! I have been shelving Halloween and Christmas books and hope they come in handy later!

Enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner!

35559 Hi! Didn’t realize teams would be announced so soon. But I’m ready and psyched for the challenge! I always have trouble creating links. But here goes, my shelf is wheel-a-thon-3

I have copied the html but I don’t think it is working. LOL Let me know if I need to try again.
35559 Strawberry jam on ham and cheese! Yum! LOL Faeries definitely have terrible taste buds.

I finished and it was another fun, exciting story. But I gotta ask, how many lives does Tybalt have!?? He keeps going through them like crazy!

Things definitely heated up for Tybalt and Toby in this book. I tentatively approve. I am not totally over Connor yet. It’s only been 2 weeks for me. LOL But I agree as far as Tybalt goes, he is sweet. I have trouble with books by Ilona Andrews because most of her men are jerks at times and the couples usually bicker way too much. To the point it irritates me. LOL

The story ended well, I thought. A happier ending for Chelsea and Entienne than Toby and Gillian.

Looking forward to the next book!
35559 I started and enjoying the story. The case Toby is on is interesting. I am learning more about changelings and the rules. Glad there is more Luidaeg, Tybalt and Quentin in this installment.

I know how that is, Brooke! I get my best reading in because of insomnia too.

I agree with all your points too. Rereading years later has me seeing some things differently. I am still rooting for Georgina and Seth. And loved Seth’s reaction to Georgina’s cheat with Bastian. It could actually be flattering that she lost control because (view spoiler) But yeah, don’t know how long their relationship can last the way it is now.
35559 Laura wrote: "Thanks for the recommendation Geri. I added it to my tbr!
Yeah for Mercy Thompson! Are you enjoying? I find the more you read of this series the more you get hooked in!"

Yes, I am enjoying the series! Someone has the digital audio checked out right now at the library. But I’m on the hold list and will start it as soon as it becomes available!
35559 Brooke - Georgina not sensing exactly what was happening to Doug’s band is answered some in later chapters. So I won’t say more than that.

Dana is so annoying! I don’t remember what her deal is, but I have an inkling. What do you ladies think? I think she may be a (view spoiler)

I did have a problem in chapter 16 when Georgina (view spoiler)
35559 Laura wrote: "Yes it should! I do like the relationships with her friends; also interested to see how that plays out again."

Laura - I keep meaning to tell you about a paranormal series I found and think you might like. (And anyone else who might be interested) The first book is Mark of the Demon. If you haven’t read it, give it a try. I’ve read the first 2 books and will definitely finish. I am also making my way through Mercy Thompson. On book 3 now.
35559 Read first 8 chapters. Some of the storylines I do remember. I remember Bastian. But I don’t remember how his “job” turns out.

It was funny how people at Georgina’s job reacted to Seth’s story. Georgina and Seth’s relationship is very romantic right now. But also has to be very frustrating.

Definitely something supernatural going on with Doug and his band....

The book brought up a good point in chapter 1. Does Georgina have it easier because she is female and seducing men?
35559 Georgina has made a promise to be a better Succubus. That should be interesting!

You cut it close, Laura! Thanks for creating the thread. I am looking forward to it too!

I’ve read the entire series. Don’t remember exactly why Georgina feels a tingle when touching Seth. It could be reincarnation or maybe a soulmate thing? At least that is what I was thinking.

I’ve also read Mead’s Vampire Academy series. But Georgina Kincaid is my favorite. Love both Georgina and Seth.

Getting a degree in Library Sciences sounds wonderful! Being around books all day! I know. There is more to it. Still, sounds wonderful.

What do you think of the book so far?
35559 Laura wrote: "It was fun. We got lost a few times!
Going to an apple orchard is also fun! It's too bad it's so commercialized now.
9/24 also works for me"

LOL That’s what makes a corn maze fun! The orchard also has a corn maze and train ride that takes kids through the orchard. I love the expensively priced caramel apples, apple cider and pumpkin doughnuts. LOL

Yeah, there wasn’t a dull moment! And like pretty much everyone from previous books were in this book too. Even April, January’s daughter. I was glad to read about her.
35559 Claudia wrote: "Ok so I have finished the book. I didn't comment before because I had no idea what to say. This book.... just...this book.

I both loved and hated this book! I guess I am getting too invested. The ending was so beautifully written, though. (view spoiler)
35559 Laura wrote: "Are we all up for book 2?
I'm hoping to finish this tomorrow night.
I thought it would be today but we ended up going to a corn maze this afternoon with family and friends."

That sounds like fun! My husband and I tried to go to an apple orchard yesterday. We got there about 9:30 am and it was packed already. So we decided to skip it and go another day. I remember when it was a family owned orchard and we could go anytime we wanted. Now, it’s owned by a company and a lot of people from neighboring states visit in droves. Good for the orchard, not so good for me!
