I finished The Stand. YAY! And should be able to finish the other 2 in time.

A girlfriend of mine convinced me to read The Stand with her. Now, we will watch the DVD of the show. I am happy I got through it. The points made it worth it.

I found a bunch of books for N on my big books shelf. And checked audible romance package for LGBTQ. Found 2 that look interesting.

I’ll be spending the day and possibly tomorrow morning finishing up my big book so we can get 100 points for it. It’s the uncut version of The Stand. And it’s unnecessarily long!!

Laura, I know what you mean about rereading a book and it isn’t as good the second time around!

Thanks for checking! I just didn’t want to miss out on a U. And yes, the book is River Marked. I will be able to use it for shifters.

Should be sweet seeing your niece at prom! I need to speed up my reading schedule for Mercy Thompson and Fatal series. I am lagging behind! Hope you get the latest Mercy Thompson book soon!

It was kind of boring for a reverse harem book. Not a good sign! LOL It could be book 1 was just set up. But I don’t know if I want to try another book to see if it gets better. Too bad since I was hoping to find another paranormal series.

I do have a question for you or Laura. Can I count a character called Uncle Mike as a U? If so, I found another U book!

Good morning! (At least it is here) I had a wonderful weekend. Saturday was beautiful. First Saturday in a while without rain. And summer is finally here.

Glad you had a productive weekend, Laura! Not as fun as getting away. But it is good to get things done.

I read my first shifter book and was disappointed. So I added Mercy Thompson book 6 River Marked to wk 2 reading list. It works for title, series and author so it must be fate that I should read it now. It will definitely be better than my other shifter book!

Everybody says the book is terrible. I’m almost curious enough to read it. Almost! But not quite!

Happy Weekend! I’ll be running some errands today and spending some time with my hub. But I do plan on finishing a book tonight. I am concentrating on U books since I know we need them. I tried reading one yesterday but couldn’t put myself through it. So I took it off my list. I will finish 3 U books this week!

Sunny, don’t feel bad about not finishing a book. I bail on a book if it’s really bad. Too many good books to read!
