I was looking for a scary book for Halloween. But this was just okay. It’s part comic irony so that may be why I did not find it very scary. I would say don’t buy this unless you have read this author before and liked his writing.

Laura - My book count is high this week because some books were short. I can finish 1 or 2 more this week possibly. Or slow down and finish in wk 4. I know our book counts have been low or just on target. Please advise.

The books I chose because of the animals on covers weren’t great either. So I feel your pain! Fortunately, I found animal references in other books too!

And finally today I will finish Save the Date! It wasn’t much different from a not so well written, uninteresting MF romance.

I’m trying to read as much as I can during the week. So I can take a break on weekends. But I will definitely need a break from challenges after TT is over!

Sounds like a fun weekend for you! Audiobooks are great for road trips. We finally have some Fall color here. So we will likely go to a state park this weekend. My husband and I like taking pictures of the trees!
