From the books I will be reading this week, I think would work for clothes on cover. And would work for water on cover. I’ll see what I can find inside my other books.

I just read the stories and they are great! Better than anything I could have done!

We are a third through. It went a different way than I thought it would. I have to finish before I can say more. It will probably be next week.

I tried reading it when it came out. But I couldn’t finish.

I don’t think my books will work for what someone wore. But I will look to see if I can find one.

I read 2 choice award books so far and I did not like them at all. Some of the worst books I’ve read were award nominees and winners. So I understand your wariness. I make sure to get most or all from the library. Because I can’t resist the allure and possibility one will be good. LOL

Laura, did you find some books to add from the goodreads awards?

I am listening to Disappearing Earth right now. It is good. Apparently nominated for a National Book Award too. It’s more a “literary” mystery.

I have also started Ask Again, Yes. Buddy reading with my husband. And we are both enjoying it. Thanks, Brooke, for saying it is good!

Next week I’ll be reading more choice award books that I immediately grabbed from Overdrive!
