true, i wasn't thinking about duplicate animals. but yeah i think it's definitely good to list all options just in case.
easy ones are definitely worth it because they get 5 points [same as color cover] and also if you get a group of 7 then we get bonus points, so even if you only find easy animals it's good to post them
St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves by Karen Russell
Date: 10/23
Pages: 246
tricky animals:
glow worms: "You never heard of glowworms, Mr. Straight-A Science Guy? Their shit glows in the dark."
angelfish: "It’s easier to imagine her turning into an angelfish"
[not sure if this one works? they are talking about a girl turning into a fish so the first option is probably safer]
it also has a lot of easy animals in it - including wolf on cover and in title - and the cover color shows up as yellow on tineye
[edit for easy animals: alligator, wolf, chicken, gecko, buzzard, dog, sheep, turkey, octopus, fish, buzzard]
i just found glow worm in the book i am reading so that's good for another tricky one if no one has claimed that one yet. there's a lot of easy animals as well if we've already got a glow worm somewhere though and it also works for color cover.

Easy Animal: Bird
the bird is on the cover of the book but if you'd also like a sentence: "A woman walking along Prytania Street hears the bird's grating cry, looks up to see a violent smudge of ebony against the summer twilight, "
or if you need to move it to a sin instead

@Trinia - about the book i posted earlier: there could be another animal in it ...i'm remembering an owl or some other bird and some kind of fish maybe ...but i'm not entirely sure. i would check but i have it in print and audio so can't really search for words. still, even the easy animals are worth 5 points so that's not bad if you end up reading it. and some bonus points if we make a collection
also i already reread this last month but
has a lynx in it if anyone thinks it looks interesting. i know it's just an easy animal but still could be good for making a group
i think that if there were two animals in there you could both claim a different one [although i could be wrong]. if there's only butterfly though and it works for color or genre i would do that instead for one of them since those are worth 3 or 5 and the second butterfly would only be 1
yeah, i doubt we can catch up with the top spots but hopefully we can move up a bit from 11 lol. i'm trying to find some longer books that i can get on audio just because i hate actually reading longer books.i doubt i will have any books with tricky animals, but i'm sure i can find several with easy ones. i'm reading two now that work for horse and bird and can do one for wolf as well next. the ones i'm working on now also work for genre but the easy animals are 5 points and the genre is 3 right? so doing the animal points would be better i guess.
