Looks like my grand total will be 326. Woohoo! Can't believe it this is the first time I've kept track of how many books I read in a year, I knew it was a lot but didn't think it was that many. I do read a lot of children's books though. Can't wait to do it all again next year. Happy New Year Everyone!!!

35559 Tracking is always the hardest part for me too. I start out doing really well and then I just quit doing it. So frustrating!

35559 The Man in the Moon (The Guardians of Childhood) by William Joyce is the first book in his series "The Guardians of Childhood," I think it's the only one that's been published so far. I really enjoyed it! It wasn't very long though so it will be interesting to see how they make a movie out of it.

35559 I pretty much go by the GoodReads rating system:

1 star: I hated it and when I was done with it wanted to throw it across the room.

2 stars: I didn't really like it but didn't have the strong hatred for it that I would give to a one star book

3 stars: I liked it but it was just average

4 stars: I really liked it and thought it was above average

5 stars: I loved it, whish I could marry it and am ready to commit to putting it on my favorites shelf.

35559 I'm going to try the same book resolution that I made last year and failed miserably at: I will read the books I already have instead of checking out/buying more. haha we'll see how this goes.
