35559 Thanks for the vote of confidence everyone! I have to admit I did buy some books from Amazon last night but only because they didn't have them at the library. Maybe I should change my resolution to buy and checkout less books and read more of the boooks I already own. lol we'll see how that goes.

35559 I was thinking about this too. There are a lot of magazines that I read cover to cover. I think as long as you read all of the articles and don't just skip through and look at the pictures they should count. What does everyone else think? Would this include all periodicals such as newspapers?

35559 My reading resolution is to read the books I already have before buying or checking out more. I think this is going to be harder than it sounds.

35559 Ok great. I just didn't want anyone to think I was cheating. I am planning on reading Anna Karenina this year so that should make up for the shorter books I read.

35559 Is there a minimum amount of pages for a book to count? I know children's picture books probably don't count but what about longer children's stories and nonfiction. Do they count? I read a lot of them for my job.

35559 Ok count me in. I'm starting today so my challenge will run through March 18. One question though if we read two books by authors of the same country would both of those books count or does each book need to be from a differnt country. Example if I read two books by English Authors would they both count? Or just the first one since it was the first book I read by someone from that country?
