I have the same feeling. I'm wondering if it will be Buffy. She's a main character but for some reason I don't feel the same attachment to her that I do the others.
9) Do you think there was another reason that Senator Ryman wanted his wife excluded from the campaign footage?
I'm not sure. I've thought about this and I can completly understand why he would want to keep her hidden since she breeds horses. But I think the senator and his wife have more skelatons in their closet than they are letting on. No one is that perfect!
10) We finally got a better idea of how the zombie virus was spread. It had to do with a combination of a cancer cure and a cure for the common cold? Did I get that right?
Yes, and I think it's interesting that it was not spread by the scientists or the government but by a group trying to give everyone the cure for the virus. The road to hell is paved with good intentions? Or did the government have more to do with the spread of the virus than they are letting on.
13) Do you think Senator Ryman is as nice as he seems or is he just good at portraying himself that way?
I think it might be a little of both. He probably is a nice guy but he is hiding something.
14) So if large animals can carry the zombie virus what side of the issue would you be on? Protect the animals or kill them or somewhere in between?
I think I'd be somewhere in between. I wouldn't be for mass execution of all the animals...why not mass execution of all the people too then? We have the virus too. I wouldn't want to live near large animals either though. I think I'd feel more comfortable figting off a zombie human than a zombie tiger.

1) Initial thoughts of what happened. I'm glad of the descriptions at the top of this discussion, because I wasn't sure of what caused the zombification to happen.
I..."
I agree! I think that it's really interesting that this story takes place after the first zombie attacks. I like the way life just goes on and people have learned to live with zombies. To a small degree it reminds me of the airports after 9/11. There was a new normal and life just went on.

I think that George and Shaun's relationship is going to turn into more than a brother sister relationship as the series progresses. They have a lot of chemestry and it's just a bit two convienint that the author made such a point about them not being related by blood. She could have just as easily had them be real siblings that were adopted.

Those shelves are awesome! I want one too!!! The price is pretty reasonable and I like that they don't take up too much room. You can just put them in the corner. Love it!!
