Oooh! What's Murderbot? I am intrigued now... Someone convinced me to read White Trash Zombie earlier this year & it was hysterical! Keep an open mind.....

While not a particular accomplishment, I learned yesterday that the pumpkin spice milkshake is back at Jack in the Box...

I got 1) humor 2) love & 3) love of learning...

I think choosing reads non-fiction books for fun automatically gets you a love of learning ticket...

I'd totally forgotten The Dollhouse! I was so sad that it was cancelled. Love Eliza Dushku! She was my favorite thing about Bring It On...

Yaaayyyy! I'll PM you later so we don't drive everyone else crazy! I didn't like Fear at first, either. But I will say this. Give it a chance! It gets waaayyyy better!

Ooh! I love Killjoys & Firefly was great. Hope they resurrect it. Loved the movie Serenity, too...

It's funny that I almost never watch TV, but I have all these favorites... I'm also a total sucker for the cheesy SyFy movies & all the Sharknados...

I cry at Braveheart every damn time! When his wife dies, at the end... But still I watch! I once missed a wedding because I'd watched Legends of the Fall the night before. My face was too messed up for me to appear in public!!

We saw both Mamma Mia movies in the theater! You just know I was singing at the top of my lungs! Totally embarrassing my husband in the process -- BONUS!

I categorically love all musicals, live and movie. I purposely didn't list any. Sound of Music would be way up there, Kathleen! When I'm sick, I like to watch Fiddler on the Roof... OMG! Flower Drum Song, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent..... I still have some VHS tapes! Netflix is a godsend.

All in no particular order! I'd like to add in all 3 original Star Wars movies and the entire Indiana Jones series .... When I'm not reading, I'm watching movies! Twister is inexplicable, but I'll watch it every time it's on. My family teases me about it. We don't have tornadoes in Hawaii.

Yes. Right off the bat, there's carnage. I'm waiting for some redeeming quality to surface. I picked it up because it was a BOM & looked like a quick read. I'm liking the Poppy War much more, even though it's way longer.

I remember being so disappointed with the first Harry Potter movie because the characters looked nothing like what I imagined they would! But all in all, I do love the movies & will watch them whenever they're on TV! My favorite is Goblet of Fire. Favorite of the books, too!

In general, the book is always better that than the movie!

Yes, Karen. 54 books. I have the magical ability to let a book lie for months (sometimes years!) and come right back to my spot & pick it up like I'd never left off. I'm thrilled to find so many multiple book readers on our team! A lot of times most people act like I'm a freak of nature...

A former co-worker mentioned she thought I had selective adult ADD. Ha!

I'm on a few days vacation and am starting a new horror and/or Halloween book every day. Why? Because I can!!

I don't even attempt to control my multiple book proclivity anymore! I just go with it. I do seasonal things like now horror for October, heartwarming for Thanksgiving, & (duh!) Christmas in December. Why, why, why? I go to the library every Monday and come away with shopping bags full of books to feed my madness!

I'm going to finish NOS4A2 this month -- which I started last October for sure.

I am a serial book starter. I read multiple books simultaneously. Right now GR tells me I'm currently reading 54 books! I won't go into all of them, but the best of this crop are: The Poppy War, It, Death of a Pumpkin Carver, Give Me Your Hand, Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen, The Cabinet of Curiosities & The City of Brass. Call me crazy, but I'm obsessive and this is just how I roll!

And so... What are YOU reading right now?

Around the World was my first-ever group challenge back in the day. My group did 2 whole spins...
Right now I'm doing the Twelve Towers, Cleaning Out the TBR Closet & a bunch of others. Never mind the ones I'm doing with other groups!! I suck at going back and updating. I probably only do that quarterly.
My biggest problem this year is that I was on vacation at Christmastime & pretty bored, so I signed up for a whole bunch of challenges, but I didn't write them down the way I normally do. So now it's pretty much hit or miss. I do love the big group challenges, though. Since reading is such a solitary activity, I feel as if the challenges connect us with others. And they're just fun!

Karen (or anyone!) please put me down for one more book Forever Odd for the letter O - MC's name is Odd Thomas. I just picked it up from the library today!
