35559 I know that Tolkien was born in South Africa, but here is the shelf of South African Authors on Goodreads. As always, make sure the author was actually born in South Africa!

I enjoyed the first one. And I'm in a quarterly Romantasy book club that is doing the series for our September meeting. So even if it's bad I'll finish it to be able to talk about it. :)

But I won't be able to start it until Thursday, so if anyone else has a wildlife cover, go for it.

That's what I planned to do if you hadn't finished before I finished my St. Petersburg book. I figured your S could be moved to whatever new spell-out we get.

35559 I put a book down for the dragon on cover task, but I haven't started it yet. If anyone else has one, please feel free to replace mine.

We should finish up Russia in the morning, so we'll have some new country tasks then as well.

35559 I gave it 5 stars. But I read it back in December and I honestly don’t remember it. It looks like Tricia gave it 2 stars. Maybe she remembers it better?

Done. I moved Aiswrya to the A in China. Unless it fits for a different China task, Aiswyra?

Tara, can you add a read date to The Great Mann? Thanks!

35559 If you ever need a book with an unreliable narrator, I highly recommend the one I just finished. Metal Slinger destroyed me. 5 stars!

It also got moved from the colors task for Italy and into the artist spot for Russia.

Tara's book Broken Country was moved into the colors task for Italy and Italy just needs the Y from Bernadette to complete that one.

Someone had just finished a Japanese author before we got Japan, as well. The wheel has it in for us! But I'm always happy to read an Ilona Andrews book!

WW149 character (dreams of) going to St. Petersburg"

Just to clarify, because it has come up in the captains group, a character that already lives in St. Petersburg would not dream of or go to St. Petersburg.

What other teams read:

Splendor
Summer in Baden-Baden (Cat said this one is 'massively weird')
Granny Dan
Midnight in St. Petersburg
The Winter Palace
Polostan
The Black Circle

35559 I finished my Pasta on cover book. And this book is the reason I do reading challenges. Because I never would have picked it up without this task. But I cried so hard. It was a very cathartic read!

You can leave it on your shelf and add it to the Reserves tab if you want.
