I'm only up to 174 on the wait list for Crazy Rich Asians at the library. So dont think I'm going to make it for the BOM. 😕
Book: Kill Without Mercy by Alexandra IvyPages: 340
Completed: 11/23/18
How it Fits: Author: I, Character: R
I'll get my genre book done tonight or at the latest lunch time tomorrow. I'm going to run out of time to finish my other longer book this weekend, but at least it'll start out next week well!

Honestly, I'm not a fan of pure-out Christmas books ..."
Neither of these looks too interesting to me. And kinda expensive. I'll check the library.
It's the last one on the first page. I took a picture of it in case it changes and falls to the second. 😁
I'm sorry to be asking so many questions...I swear I read the directions, but obviously not well enough!
I found a Sandra Brown book I can read, but its only tagged "Brown" 9 times. Is that good enough for the genre task?

Vicki, they say there are 120 copies circulating. I don't think I'll make it by the end of the month. :(
I'm reading, I promise! I should have my first book done tomorrow -- I just read all of them at the same time, so they end up all getting done at the end of the week. :) Question on the BOM points -- does it just have to be sometime this month, or do we have to do it in the week the thread and questions are active? I'm up to 288 on the waitlist for Crazy Rich Asians, but I'm thinking of just buying it... I can read it next week or the week after, correct?
I finished Tiger Magic this morning, and should have Crow done tonight. I can squeeze one more in before noon on Saturday -- is there any particular letter we need that I should look for?
I found Candy Corn & Murder: An Oceanside Cozy Mystery Book 51. I should be able to fit it in and its on kindle unlimited. :)

The movie must have made everyone in Raleigh decide it would be a good book to read.
I was going to try to read Crazy Rich Asians for the BOM, but I'm currently 349 on the library waiting list. We'll see if I get there before the end of the month, but I'm not holding out hope. :(

Sorry I'm late on these -- I was away with friends this weekend, and people get cranky when you check Goodreads rather than talking to them. :) Do you participate in other challenge groups besides than this one?
I'm in 6 or 7 that I participate in regularly, a few others that have once or twice yearly challenges I really enjoy.
Do you usually pre-plan the books you are going to read in any way? I try to on yearlong challenges, but most of the ones I'm in right now I need to make fit certain tasks, so planning doesn't really work. I am completely unable to pick a book to read independently anymore at this point. ;)
Do you read more than one book at a time? I usually have a physical book at home, a kindle book for work (lunchtime reading) and an audio book for commuting and running going at any one time.
How are you doing on your Goodreads yearly challenge?
I'm 11 books ahead right now. I had initially planned it lower as I was going to try to knock some big books out this year, but then challenges...
What's your favorite reading spot?
Really anywhere I have a seat, but mostly my bed or on my deck if its not too hot.
Do you like any favorite reading snacks or drinks? Not really. I might have a diet coke or water nearby, but its not usually part of my reading plan.
