You know, that description sounds more familiar to me than I'd like to admit. I have a lot more reading "rules" and practices but I didn't list them all here, because they make me sound a bit nuts. LOL, I guess we're all in pretty good company here though, if we're willing to participate in this kind of crazy reading challenge.

I'm envious of you. My 'up-next' shelf is getting out of control. I used to keep it below 20 books but now it's sitting at 34 because I keep choosing books off my TBR that fit this challenge instead, lol. I don't mind too much because I've actually read some great books that I may not have gotten to anytime soon (or lets be real: ever) but that shelf is making me nervous.

Yes, definitely. It wasn't in the bank yet, so I forgot about it.

If we don't have a third one finished (I'm gonna double check the finished books) I'll claim the third book as there is a linguist in my audiobook Sleeping Giants who is hired for his superior intelligence. I'm more than halfway done.

Thanks for the recommendations Becky, I'm definitely ready for some brain candy. A lot of stuff in this book hit me like a sledgehammer because of my past.
