Can we use as task cauldron on the cover?

Why am I asking? Bc this book is "shortish", but has more than 100 pages and is not listed as children book. But I want to be on the save side and not get neg. points by mods saying this wouldn't count.

Title relay would be an extra task to do for extra points.

I played UNO and we had the same tasks there (similar covers) - the only difference between covers could be zoom or color, but cover has to be the same. And there we could read the same book twice, that's why I am asking :D

1) Read a book something to drink on the cover

Can it be just water on the cover or it should be a drink in a cup or mug?
I will be reading for BOM

2) Read 2 books with similar covers

If two players read the same book, this way covers are identical, but will that count or we need to find two totally different books with the same cover?

Rachel, we don't need classic right now for the maze, bc it's being read already. But you can save it for another move when we will need to read classic again.

Yes, audiobooks are okay.

Maybe we should have sort of date when our first 3x3 tasks should be done?

I think it will motivate more to read and complete them sooner than later.

Agree. Thrillers are more on the edge or scared or excited, but some of them are relaxing, the matter of taste.

If "leisure" works I can read The Alchemist - leisure 31 times, 8 times relax and 2 times calming.

Ok. It is 8 + 2 = 10 of relax and calming, without leisure.

If needed I will read it, no problem :)

Nikki's book "Sharp Objects" is placed in 2 spots, I think we should delete one of them (maybe the one that is in task 4 with "calm"/"relax" bc I couldn't find any book that fits for now.

Maybe the title relay would be easier to do or the song/music one?

Steven - I just want to be sure, I started a book on 31st July and finished it at the same day (almost at the end of the day in my timezone), so can we use it for Task, if yes I will log info when I will wake up.

13. What do you think of Daisy's fanfiction writing and her character that largely resembles Aza?

I think she does what she loves as her hobby, so why not.
If wouldn't handle this situation as good as Aza did. Aza did it very well and understood why she did it aka the way Daisy dealt with Aza, but she should have mentioned to her about that and ask her opinion on that, bc everyone knows how she feels about Aza in real life.

14. Do you think Aza is justified in her hurt feelings?

Yes

15. Lots of literary references. Do you have a favorite?

I do, but I am not going to write them out in Estonian and I am too lazy to search the English one.

16. Do you think Aza 's car accident was because she was distracted by Daisy and their argument or an attempted suicide?

Distraction bc of their argument. For once Aza could tell everything she was thinking and feeling for so long time, what she hasn't told to anyone.

17. What did you think of the hand sanitzer scene when Aza's mom catches her doing it?

I am glad that her mum caught her, bc after that she gets better treatment for her mental health than before

I think Daisy and Aza's relationship is really weird, both are self absorbed and only think of themselves; there doesn't seem to be any give and take in their relationship but it does seem to work for them. I like that they forgave each other, accept each other for who they are and continue being friends. What do you think of this odd friendship?

It worked very well for them, but in most situations, it won't work out. So, I am glad that they are friend, after all, Aza needs a friend who understands her after what happened.

19. Do you think Asa did the right thing by telling Davis about the connection to his dad in the underground sewer?

Yes, yes and yes. It would be very wrong not to tell them. He is their dad not her, they want to know what happened and do the right thing for everyone.

20. Did you like the ending? What rating did you give the book? Are you now a John Green fan if you weren't already? For those of you that are John Green fans did the book live up to your expectations?

I liked the ending, but the book itself wasn't so good as I was hoping it to be. Rating: 3.5 stars. I was already John Green fan and read almost all his book, but this one is a little bit weaker than his other works.


21. Do you think Green accurately portrayed a teenager living with anxiety?

I do believe it was accurate as I have it myself. For everyone, it's very different, but he did good justice how it feels and what it's like.

7. Are you loving the Star War's references? Are you a Star Wars Fan?

I have to admit. I have never watched any movie so far, but I will binge watch them soon. I am a huge movie watcher, but I am more into action, horror, thriller, and Syfy.

8. I love the references to space. My daughter and I try to find constellations when we walk at night. Anyone else looks for constellations? Which ones have you found?

No, but I would love to.

9. My heart is breaking for Davis. He is alone besides for his brother who he can't reach out to. It wouldn't be a nice feeling trying to decide if someone likes you for your money or because of you. What did you think of the scene between Aza and Davis when he gives her the money? Is she going to be able to stop Daisy from turning in the information?

Would I give money like Davis did - I don't know. But he did it, so she wouldn't be sneaking around him and trying to get any info from him. Also, it's a test - would you stay or you will leave after having so much money.
I don't think Daisy will tell anyone, she is this kind of person if she gets what she wants then everything after that doesn't matter anymore.

10. What do you think of Aza and & Daisy's friendship?

I like it, but sometimes not. Daisy is a little bit too much into herself and I don't think she really understands what is happening to Aza.

11. Are you enjoying the book so far?

It's okay so far, not the best Green book. I have some troubles reading it.

12. Do you have a favorite character? A favorite scene? A favorite quote?

Favorite character - Davis. No fav scene or quote, as I am too lazy to remember them and write her them in Estonian (which no one will understand) :D
