I reckon Book 3 is the best of three I have read so far, although her books are pretty formulaic - hot girl meets hot guy, hot girl really likes hot guy but for some inexplicable and not convincing reason doesn't want to stick around (stupid hot girl), hot guy refuses to allow hot girl to leave until she finally realises she's looking a gift horse in the mouth and gives in (clever hot girl). I am liking each one better as I go along. But I think Kristen is right in that I'm getting to know and love the characters. After Book 3 (which I'm nearly finished) I can't wait to read Luke's story - mmmnn-mmn yummy male goodness.

Anyway, be interesting to see what you think of book 3 too ST.

That was the same for Jack Deveux in Poison Princess, I liked him and his attitude didn't bother me, but it seemed to bother some readers immensely. I am sure I will be able to push through book 1 of Lux to get to the good stuff ;)

Totally, love it in fiction but would never put up with that sort of behaviour IRL.

We'll I did take a liking to Mace in book 2 :)

So, since I am binging on Rock chick at the moment (I can't believe how much I like this series after really struggling with #1) I have decided that Hank is by far my favourite, followed by Vance (although I am only on book 3 so this could change). Since you girls have read much further along in the series, who are your favourites :)

Even with Wheel-a-thon and SS, that is only two books per week and that's only if you can't use one book for both challenges :)

I noticed on her website she says she is looking at starting a spinoff series with Mace and his girl in it.
