She had an American accent and I found her good. I found that I could listen to her quite well at 1.5x speed. I will be interested to see what you think of it if you listen to it too - it wasn't what I was expecting that's for sure.
I went and did the same for you Renee. I noticed after I voted on one it said 1 out of 2 people found this helpful, so I wasn't sure if I accidentally hit the wrong button, but I couldn't see my vote to tell if it was me or not. I am sorry if it was. That's the one problem with Audible is the inability to edit. I forgot to add to a couple of my reviews that I had received the book free in exchange for a review but I could not find anywhere I could edit my review to add it. It's frustrating because I write my reviews on my phone and I worry I will accidentally hit submit half way through and have no way to finish it.
No.. Wait... Just started browsing and everything was at sale prices! Ok.. I'm going in :)

The book below was an Audiobook Blast book. Great story completely ruined by the narration unfortunately. It's the first review for Audiobook Blast where I had to write something quite negative, but it was so bad I couldn't not mention it, which is a shame for such a good story - I might actually get the eBook in the future so I can enjoy it more.Book - Kyrathaba Rising

Ok, I've just finished Seduction and Snacks and I did enjoy it with plenty of lol moments, but did anyone else find the audible book narrator really unsuited for this book? Her voice sounded like she was much, much older than the characters - like grandma old. In fact I kept thinking that she reminded me a bit of Marge Simpson with the smoker's voice. I found it so distracting.Talking about bad narration, I have just started a book that I got through audiobook blast and the narration is so bad I don't want to finish the book (and I have only just started it). The narrator draws out every last word in a sentence, it is baaad. So baaad. You can see how annoying that would be right? It's a shame because the story itself seems quite interesting, but I am struggling to listen to it because the narration is so awful.

Well, as you know I do Audiobook Blast and love it. I only just joined NetGalley yesterday and applied for a few books thinking I was unlikely to get them because I just do reviews here and there on Goodreads and they were probably looking for more serious reviewers. Lo and behold though, I got approved for 4 of the 5 so now I am like.. oh crap - so many books to read!!! Not to mention the Audiobook Blast ones I have as well.
