Trio has a memoir in hand, or planned to.

but we can use two easily, as one will finish the first set and the second goes in the second. But of course memoirs are trickier with letter options, so do think about fitting our spell out too! (she says, as she nearly picked up a book good for nothing!)

What would be handy is books with steampunk tags, time travel tags and epistolary / diary format :)

To give you all a bit of insight into how Danielle and I are putting things:
- tricky time-limited tasks (tags, diary, time in title, harder publish / setting)
- finishing off Colours & Genres
- tricky Genres
- colour covers
- tricky colours (teal, because we don't want to spend too much time over-thinking that one!)
- time-limited tasks

Which is to say: you might think your book is perfect for one task and be surprised to see it pop up somewhere else - there is some sort of method to our madness! And we will always try to place your books against minis for maximum points :)

As you'll also have noticed, we are doing something a bit different with the spellouts this round - we'll put Ys and Zs into spellings even if others aren't finished, down to the 9th spellout (how many we should be able to get to on past reading form), so that we aren't panicking for those letters at the end.
But we do need Ys in general, so pay special attention for Youngs, Yus, Yvonnes and Yves, please! :)

@Mel, Hungary and her diaspora are having quite the literary year! First the Nobel Prize, now a British-Hungarian has won the Booker! What next?!

Yeah. We try really hard to make clear how long the round is and what figure we want but loads of people get it wrong...

Maybe next time we'll ask for per week, per month, per year and #pages (just to prove a point to Jenny), and hopefully that way people will give us accurate info!

@Sammy, that's cos most of us are seasoned challengers, and know pretty accurately how many books they read! Don't forget that for the Sins tower challenge, my and Sophie's team got the prize for most accurate reading to sign-up. It's an accolade I enjoy 😊

Without wanting to put any pressure on anyone, we are currently in 3rd place!

So it turns out: no pressure needed - keep reading as you are!

We are a Memoir book away from starting a second set of Genres, and a few colours away from Colour completion.
The challenge long excursions are going well - a couple needed to complete the BOM Mobile one, a road sign (I've got one coming up shortly) and Antarctica setting for the Roadtrip!

Do look out for any books for the current time-limited mini :)

I've picked up a "set on a train" book, as well as one set in 0CE - 1599.

That feels a bit close.... Let me think on it

Multiple time periods can be one like The Lost Bookshop, with parallel stories. Or like The Names, which jumps forward each section (highly recommend that one, btw)

But Loki probably reads absolute trash, whereas Thor is diligently reading the prize winners ;-P
