People with those books - what sort of timeframe are you thinking for those? So we can work out if it makes sense to pencil them in or put a call out for targeted reading :)

We couldn't have used it, as it was finished before we got these tasks 😞

But I'm confident we'll find a cat on the cover easily enough! Set in a forest might be a bit more challenging!

Fab! so we've a plan, just missing one step:

Cat Birds and Us

The missing link could either be a one word title of BLUE, or someone coordinating with Danielle to pick one of her titles they can link into (i.e. a book ending with one of the words starting her title options).

I'll likely be the slow link in this one, but would expect to be one with my book during the weekend

I could read Birds and Us, to connect to the end of Tina's Bluebird, is someone has a ....Blue book ?

Read four books that form a ladder, connecting at least the last three letters of the first book to make the start of the next book (all words count). e.g. The Red Queen > Queen of Babble > Bleak House > Use of Weapons

Mary, we need to have at least three letters overlapping, not just one. There's no maximum, so in theory we could all read the same book to make the ladder!

Sometimes matching a whole word can be easier. so I found these rereads that would connect to The Black Prince:
A Pale Light in the Black (connecting The Black - and we'd need the the to connect in front of that one)
Prince of Fools

(I'm not planning particularly to read either of those - they are illustrations of the concept, basically)

Read four books that have one of the following MPGs. Each book must have a different MPG (i.e. can't use Historical Romance four times) MPGs: Dystopia / Young Adult / Historical Romance / Guilty Pleasure / Dark Fantasy / Contemporary / Horror

We'll need to think a bit carefully about these, given we can't use the same tag twice. I imagine it'll be easy enough to get two - Contemp and YA, but the others are a bit more niche.
