Lucy, does your book fits another task? it doesn't look 50% black =/

12. In chapter 16 we see Justyce have dinner with Manny's parents to commemorate Garret Tison's indictment. What do you think of Justyce being invited over and what they talk about? Did you have any thoughts about Manny's parents giving Justyce the watch and his reaction to it?
I think it was nice that they invited him, but also I think that for Justyce was a little tough. I understand Manny's parents are grieveng, and Justyce also is.
Maybe they could have waited to give him the watch, I believed they put him under a lot of pressure.
I thought it was nice that they didn't make him talk or anything, just be there.
13. Justyce sees Quan at the Fulton Regional Youth Detention Centre and a lot is said between them. What do you make of Quan's upbringing and his view on life now? Is there anything that stands out between what is said between them? Quan not saying that he killed the cop or the advice that he gives to Justyce? Do you think that Quan's advice will have a positive or negative effect on Justyce?
About Quan, I don't think it was wise to go see him with the trial and all going on, because it would be used for bad press (I hate the press)
I was sorry for Quan, and also hoped that Justyce wouldn't follow his advice, it was obvious that Quan was sent to kill the cop, and he compelled because that was all he had.
14. We see a few media releases in this part:
"Transcript from evening news... More on this story as it continues to develop"
"Tison Indictment... A trial date has yet to be announced."
The news report in chapter 18 with the photo released of Justyce in his Thug Life costume.
We also see the reporters mobbing the funeral party at Manny's funeral:
"Mr. McAllister, how's it feel to be the Boy Who Survived?
Justyce, do you think there will be justice?
What's it like knowing it could've been YOU in that casket?"
What do you think of the coverage of the event by the media? Are they siding with the police officer more than Justyce? Are they reporting the story correctly or making things worse? Do you think the author's portrayal of the media is similar to real life? Will the media ruin his chance at going to Yale?
I for one do not like the reporters at the funeral and that last question is especially nasty.
I hate reporters and the media, they always tergiverse everything. (It happens all the time, they give half the info so someone will look worse than they should).
It was tacky for the press to be at Manny's funeral, and I was so angry at the Boy Who Survived question, as if Justyce wasn't suffering enough. (I also laughed because it reminded me of Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived).
I was really worry about the effects of the incident would have in Justyce chanco to go to Yale.
15. Chapter 18 goes through a lot. We see Justyace spending time with Doc to avoid making the call to Trey and the gang and isn't writing to Martin anymore SJ speaking to him again and she apologises. She also calls Jared about the release of the photo. What are your thoughts on all these and the character development of the teens?
I was hoping for Justyce not to go to Trey, but when SJ appeared and showed them the news and the photo from halloween, I knew he could take the wrong decition.
Doc is a great influence and I'm glad that Justyce can turn to him.
Also I was glad to see SJ and Justyce talking again.

We need C, R, E, A, T.
Right now we have two read through pendants, and both need those letters.
Supposedly, the books on the SS can take care of one of the read through, but it depends on our team mates, if they manage to finish all those books in time haha, but things can be rearranged ;)
So if you manage to read another book, any of those letters will do.
