I came across three or four blue dresses while I was looking for my dress, what color mask are you using? I wanted a mask to go with mine but I haven't really found an interesting book to go with it yet, plus I wasn't really sure what kind of mask I should be looking for.

I originally wanted to go with a green dress cuz green's my favorite color, I decided that I'd probably look just as nice in light blue.

I got this dress from the rogues and rakes category of the listopia list.

35559 I'm probably over extending myself again, but I don't think I can say no to this intriguing challenge!

Intriguing possibilities, I had a small question. As most of you know the first half of Twilight: Breaking Dawn came out in November.

I've been trying to get up the energy to read the books so I can see this first part of the movie, so my question is do you think Twilight would maybe fit into any of these categories?

35559 Singing In The Snow Challenge

Level: Easy

1.Carol: I'll Be Home For Christmas
Book: Home for the Holidays

Why? Home is mentioned in the title, and the hero offers a home to the heroine and her sibling even though the heroine clearly despises him. Done! 12-7-2011 4/5 Stars!

I'm trying to be creative with this next one because it's a song I really like to hear around the holidays and I really want to use it in this challenge, I hope it works.

2.Carol:Baby It's Cold Outside
Book:A Seduction at Christmas
Why? The book blurb and the song lyrics seem to have some things in common.

Both the book blurb and the song lyrics talk about how the girl gets involved with a guy she knows she shouldn't.

Sounds like my kind of book, thanks for the suggestion!

35559 I know I really shouldn't be doing this challenge cuz I'm already sort of booked for December, but I don't think I can resist this challenge.

I think I'll be back later with a title posting.

Cool! Thanks putting this up as a possibility, I have a feeling that if people are having a hard time finding a book to read for Esmerelda then a lot of people will using this book.

You're welcome, I accdently came across some books that I might use but I was afriad they wouldn't qaulify because they have more to do with the hero then the heroine.

Thanks for adding Sashana!

35559 I just had a thought about Belle; it says this Belle:
from Beauty and the Beast
Read a book where the protagonist loves books and reading. Read a book about a protagonist who adores her father or falls in love with a man who is not handsome. You can also read a retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

It says a book with heroine who falls in love with man that isn't handsome, could the book also include that the hero has some kind of facial or emotional scar?

If I remember right the beast wasn't only unattractive he had a terrible temper so would it be okay if we looked for books that also mentioned this kind of hero in our chosen book?

35559 You did better then me Dawn, I sort of overextended myself challenge wise. I only got 8 done this time but maybe I'll try again next year, the challenge was pretty interesting though!

Lisa Kay (LisaKayAliceMaria) | 2110 comments ~ Antonym Challenge ~

description

Rules: In this challenge you need to match a book to a book using antonyms in the title. For example the first book you read could have the word “hot” in the title. The matching book then needs to have a word like “cold” in the title. Other opposite words to hot are "cool, freezing, frigid" or even “dispassionate” or “mild.”

You can also use a derivative of the word, such as “freeze” or “frozen.” Or say you chose “angel.” Opposite words in another title could be “devil” or “devilishly.” To assist you, here is a link to a web site entitled Opposite Word.

Since series names are considered part of the title, you may go by words within them.

Bonus: Read an additional book with both your chosen words in the title. For example, if you chose “hot” and “cold,” you could choose Cold Tea On A Hot Day.

Example:

• hot/cold
Hot: Devilishly Hot, by Kathy Love
Cold: Love in a Cold Climate, by Nancy Mitford
Bonus: Cold Tea On A Hot Day, by Curtiss Ann Matlock
Devilishly HotLove in a Cold Climate (Penguin Modern Classics)Cold Tea On A Hot Day

Anthologies, audiobooks, and re-reads are fine.

Duration: The duration of this challenge will be one year from your start date. So whenever you decide to start, you will have one year to complete it. Please post your dates with your list. Post as you go or edit your initial post (just let us know when you’re done).

Would it be alright if I wanted to start it in the new year?

Hey Sherrie? How is the Bewitching Mystery series? I was just wondering because I'm using the first book in another October based reading challenge that I'm doing.
