Oh me too, my dad got me hooked on that series and I've been borrowing the dvds from my library ever since.

Thanks for the facts Lisa! Sounds a little complicated but cool nonetheless!

35559 I just wanted a quick clarification on something, when you said we could read a retelling of a fairy tail? It doesn't have to have all the things that the original tale has in it does it?

For example, there's this book I'm thinking about doing for this challenge.

The heroine has a stepmother but she's a little different from the original Cinderella, the heroine doesn't seem to believe in fairy tales or happy endings would this book still work or still be considered a retelling?

Yeah especially if she came home at night and turned on a light and saw them.

35559 Ok, I'll admit it those are good honestly though some of them freak me out!

I think Jasmin and Pocahontas are my favorites, Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland freak me out a little though. Alice especially because there's a computer game where the story line is scarily similar to that drawing.

I also really like the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, Snow White's pretty interesting too. Oh and I also like Sleeping Beauty!

This looks like something you could use for an intriguing story line, say for example if something went really, really wrong in the fairy tale world? The pictures you've shown above are the results.

I'm a little afraid to ask what Megara and Tiana would look like.

Congrats! I'm still working on mine, I think I overextended myself on challenges this year!

I think that's what one of my resolutions is going to be...ease up the reading challenges or none at all until I've finished ones that I'm already working on.

Yes."

Cool! The title is a little Christmassy but I'm sure no one will mine too much. Thanks!

Thanks for this one Lizz, I've got a nook so getting the book Lisa Kay suggested was a little easier. I will keep this book in mind though, thanks again!

Dated? I don't know it looks pretty interesting, I just hope the crew isn't too rowdy.

35559 I went back to the first page where the challenge outline was but I couldn't really figure out if anything answered my question or not.

My question was this; If the kind of dance that you wanted to participate in was mentioned in the book title would it be ok to use that book as well?
