I loved playing on tower teams but I am so behind in my other challenges. These time sensitive ones are fun but intense. Good luck to those of you playing.

I started listening to
today. I think it could work for 4. Read a book with a brown item (something that can be touched) on the cover and that contains at least four of the letters of E-C-H-I-D-N-A in the author's name
I can take N with Flame in the Dark. I didn't read it for the countdown at all, even though it says I started it but I'll change that. Nell doesn't actually live on a farm, which is why I used a different book.
I've done the last listing of other books currently read by other teams for the countdown. And I just posted my other read.

I compared our books and we have quite a few in common, so if you haven't read these already try Skinwalker a UF or Kindred a time travel fantasy, the MCs are Cherokee and African-American respectively.
Shanna_redwind wrote: "Yes, an orange grove that is being grown to be harvested would be considered a farm."Fantastic. That's exactly what they're doing with them, selling the fruit and harvesting essential oils too.
Thanks.

Plethora wrote: "Another fine round ladies. This will put us at 38 books, we can only read 40 anyway to stay in our category."Pretty good. I have looked at the leaders of our category and it appears they've go strategic, getting maximum points by spelling "in" or "on" exclusively. They get 40 points per letter and they do it as many times as they can. Though it's not as exciting as spelling SCANDINAVIA.
I'm going to add Sommersgate House to the ss then go to bed. I've got an annoying cold.
I'll have Sommersgate House finished in a couple hours. I think we can use Elizabeth for the E. Even though she's called Lizzie throughout, she is called Elizabeth a few times.

I'm good with that.
I can get: 1 with a non-Caucasian main character with Shadow Rites and 9 with a character who lives on a farm/ranch with Flame in the Dark.
Little change of plans. I've stopped Naamah's Curse before I get too far cos I won't get it finished by Sunday night. I really don't want to reread 100+ pages, if I should try to use it later. But I will have Sommersgate House done. Thank goodness for audiobooks. I can do all the things I need to do whilst still reading. Letters: S, K, A, J, F, D, P, R, L, V(Julia Fairfax, Douglas Ashton, Patricia Fairfax, Ruby, Lizzy, Veronika)

It still have a few books that I can done."Sure thing, I'll get it finished as early as I can. I would've mentioned Knight earlier but I honestly thought I was going to dnf it. It can be real hit or miss with me and Ms Ashley. Hopefully we can use it for another word.
