35559 And wow, somehow missed we are only a week away from this challenge starting. With it being the last week of wheel, it just slipped my mind that this started so soon.

Should we start working out who is going to claim what tasks in the countdown?

35559 I have access to edit the spreadsheet already, but let me know if you still need my email.

35559 Will we be getting an August thread soon? I'd love to forget how terribly I've done this month. Fitting Netgalley books into Wheel is not easy when the letters don't fit the word you get.

35559 Most of the ones I have of Rebecca Zanetti's are in the 300 page range plus one that's the coveted 401 pages. And they're romantic suspense so they should be quick reads. I should have a lot of time to read this weekend, so hopefully I can get to a bunch of them.

35559 Oof, a Z. That should be fun. At least our word seems easier than some of the ones I saw other teams got.

I do have a couple books by Rebecca Zanetti I could pick up and they're also all tagged adventure.

35559 I didn't think I would have any tagged space opera other than Obsidio, but after checking all my sci-fi books I found I do have some. I will try to read 1 or 2 of these this week, but I won't be able to do more than that as I prefer to space out my sci-fi.

Obsidio (The Illuminae Files, #3) by Amie Kaufman Defy the Stars (Constellation, #1) by Claudia Gray Light Years (Light Years, #1) by Kass Morgan Heart of Iron (Heart of Iron, #1) by Ashley Poston Nyxia Unleashed (The Nyxia Triad, #2) by Scott Reintgen Chilling Effect by Valerie Valdes Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein

35559 Do the usual rules for rereads apply? As in, they can be used provided it has been at least 6 months since you read the book?

35559 I finished my book and added the date into the spreadsheet on both tabs as it looks like someone already slotted it into the word. If my book was the last one we were waiting on, then we're good to submit now!

35559 I finished 2 out of the 3 I had left to complete on the spreadsheet today. My last book I subbed with The Raven Boys as it's tagged LGBT and we only had 9 books on the sheet with the tag. It will be a reread for me and I know it's a quick read, so now we can get the full genre bonus points. I should finish it a couple hours before the deadline tomorrow.

35559 Hi team!

I live in New Jersey, bottom half of the state across the river from Philadelphia, with my husband and our 2 cats. I currently work in finance which feeds my spreadsheet addiction. I don't have any travel planned during the course of this challenge, unlike wheel, so I won't have to worry about chunks where I can't read.

I mostly read romance, mystery/thrillers, and urban fantasy with the occasional sci-fi thrown in. I typically don't read non-fiction or any fantasy not set in our world, but I will pick one up if the premise interests me enough.

In addition to my own collection of books, I have a great library system as well as Kindle Unlimited so I can usually find something to fit most tasks.

Thank you!

35559 For the Group 1 tasks, is there by chance a spreadsheet listing all of the prior BOMs? That would make searching for books to fill those tasks much easier.

35559 I was looking over the round one spreadsheet to make sure I understand how everything works and I have a question about one of the tasks in the spreadsheet.

4. where the audio version has at least four narrators

For this one, do you need to actually read the audio version? Or can you read a print/ebook version where the audio version of that book has four narrators?

35559 Oooh, I just saw the stuff for the new team challenge and it looks like a lot of fun. But honestly the thought of having to find my own team will likely keep me from participating.

35559 Question. In the book I'm currently reading(One Night of Scandal), the main character Viola masquerades as a man named Samuel Darius Tavistock on multiple occasions. Can I use that name for the spell it out (letter T) even though it's not really her name?
