Sorry I haven't posted much this week. I've been spending most of my time after work this week cleaning our house as we're having people over tomorrow for my birthday.I will have a couple more books read by the deadline, I'll add them to the spreadsheet later tonight.
I need to catch up on reviews for the ones I've already read. Other than that, my goal is to clear as many pre-2022 items as possible.Start of month:
Books on shelf: 49
Feedback Ratio: 87%
Books read pre-December that need to be reviewed:
Books (ordered by pub date):

The round 5 words are interesting, but I've been holding off on picking up some books because they have hard letters so it will be nice to be able to pick those up.
I've been busy with the holiday so I haven't read much yet this week but I'm off work for the next 5 days, so I'm hoping to read a few books longer than usual (shooting for a couple that are 500+ pages).
So I unexpectedly had stuff come up and couldn't get as much reading done today as I wanted to. I finished 1 of the 3 I had left and will definitely get 1 more done but I don't know that I'll get to the third.I'm not going to finish the anthology I have on there (one of my U's). I'm struggling to read it as I'm not enjoying the stories very much so it's going to take me longer to finish it.
I can replace it with another U though that's shorter that I'll get to tomorrow morning.
My R book is going to be hit or miss if I get it done on time. I'll update tomorrow mid-day for that one.
This has definitely been a rough round for everyone. Hope everyone's doing okay!Just to update, I have 3 left on the sheet for this round that I should finish (2 U's and 1 R). I'll update on Saturday morning if I won't get to any of them by the end of the round.

Turns out they eliminated the write-in option as well as removed some categories.

I'm mostly a romance reader, so the awards just annoy me every year as a bunch of the books in that category usually aren't even romance and they seem to hate including anything that's not an illustrated cover contemporary romance.
I finished a different book starting with a V this morning, so I moved my anthology to next round and will finish it tomorrow.
For the anthology I'm reading (Upon a Midnight Dreary), do you want me to hold off finishing until the next round since we need so many U's?

Ok, great. I will try to pick up BU next week. Plus it's a chunky book (739 pages), so that will help.

Got it, thanks! I've never been able to remember how those ones get alphabetized as I don't come across them very often.
Just wanted to update that I will complete my 10 by Saturday. I claim a spot as I start reading, so I will end up grabbing some of the empty spots over the next few days as I don't really claim them ahead of time since I change my mind so often about what to read.
