Take a look at the rules link I posted one page back and it will explain in better details. It will take strategy but we are a good team and I feel confident we can get the blackout pattern with this card.
I am not sure about plurals, Berit. We can find out.Yes, the book can be used later, but not for the card it was eaten on.
It is! Greta, Stacie and I were discussing. I think it would be cool to go for a blackout pattern. We need two shadow titles, which could be a challenge. I would need to check my shelves.
I definitely have a 5th in series ready to go. And I want to read Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers, which I think could count for the skeleton picture. But I'm flexible and will read for any of the categories we need.
We will be working on one card at a time. Once we hit the BINGO, we submit and work on a new one. The key will be a balance of speed and page count. We will be working on a pattern for the card, but we can get points for each completed square even if it's not in the pattern.
Points
• 10 Points per Square submitted
• Page Points:
• 2 Points - 100-299 pages
• 4 Points - 300-499 pages
• 6 Points - 500-799 pages
• 8 Points - 800+ pages
• 15 Points per submitted pattern (new card generated)
• Power Squares multiply points
• Select Patterns provide points
I am thinking claiming squares will work best for this one, too, but we will have a better idea once we have our first card to get planning.
I just looked in the captain's group and no date for our cards yet. They are still deciding which teams will be A, B, C and then they will be able to give out the cards. I would like to be able to fill our squares quickly, but let's put it out to a team vote. Would you all like to claim squares for this one, or just read things and let us know which squares they will work for?
Book for our "4 author same letter" quest.

N - Nessa
T - Tim
Green (p.90): the view stretched for miles, lush and green.
R book done!Off to post. It only had A, N, and T for letters though. And green.
I can do another R author before Friday if we still need it. And I will get at least one other done.
Books that are started now but finished once BINGO begins are eligible for that challenge. No banked books will be allowed. Also, page counts will come into play for the next round, so if you have some longer ones you have been wanting to read, that will be the time to bring them out!
Berit, let me knock out an R author tonight. Then you only have 3!Anyone else have an author with last name beginning with R?

A - Amanda (character)
T - Tyler (character)
H - Mona Hirsch (character)
E - Title
N - Portia Nichols (character)
Green - p6: the man in the green tie has been watching me all day
We can potentially use those books during the final WOBBLE event. I know they are looking at how we can but no details yet. I would make sure everything you read over 100 pages is on your wobble shelf so we can use it later.
I have one I'm finishing now that hits all letters and green.Stacie, point Berit and me in the right direction and we will help finish off the last spellings!
Bingo rules are up! We will need to be a bit more strategic as a team for this three week period. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
