Yep, unless you want to take the other shadow title. Otherwise I can do one after I finish my Olympics book.
Woohoo! We are doing fantastic, team! Found a double bonus square!Beware the shark square. We haven't found it yet, but we will need to read again to replace it.
Kirby, welcome back!Check out the planning sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
We are trying to plan out the books we are reading there.
I had an early morning meeting and then stayed at work way too late. Didn't get any reading done. I should finish two of my books tomorrow night though.Updated the planning sheet for us. I have a few books with shadow in the title so I can take that remaining blank square.
Hey Stacie, do you think we could use Cream of the Crop for the Corn square? Corn>Crop? I think it will work! Wanted to see what the rest of you think.
We are still group C. They didn't change us this round, so it should work in our favor. While I'm a fan of points, I'm also a fan of getting squares filled! Read what you want and we will try to place it all.
Sam F wrote: "Could I use Out of Orange: A Memoir for the alarm clock - there's orange on the clock and it's like watching the hands of time pass in prison until she gets out? I just finished it."That sounds like it fits to me! Good interpretation.
Tasks crossed out on the planning sheet have been submitted.Still need to be claimed:
Title contains Shadow
7th in Series
Alarm Clock
Book Published 2003
Double-check your slots and change if they aren't correct!
Berit wrote: "They both can stand the test of time..."Oooh, good one. Time passes, yet the book is still worth the read!
Updating our planning sheet. Take a look and fill in what you have planned. If I missed something or slotted you in the wrong place, feel free to change things around. The goal is to complete the card as quickly as possible.https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Let's submit it for hands. I think that is one of the harder squares. Do I say "he has the fate of the world in his hands?" something like that?I have that one on my list to read but I haven't gotten to it yet!
I would like to read
since we need black covers for Olympics. I think we can slot that in the clown square. Or magic wand. Or tree (tree in story and on arm in cover). Black cover. Title with N. So many options!

Ok, we're off to the races now! I put in the coverall pattern because I know we can do it, but that can be changed at any point.I will try to update our card daily based on what you all have read. Once it's been submitted for a square we can't change it, so if you have a book that only works for one category, please call that out on our planning sheet so I don't miss it!
I think I will put To Kill a Mockingbird into the sheet since we know that category is a hard one. To test that I know what I'm doing!BRB. A little nervous I'll screw it up.
