I had that thought too, then I had to remind myself that he’s only 15. For some reason I forget how young the characters are supposed to be and constantly have to remind myself. He does come across as so whiny and self important in that scene though.

Good thinking, Devann. We don't need Q's, but we need plenty of U's.The E's, L's and R's, while maybe a little easier to find, are plentiful! Let's try to get that total down quickly so we aren't scrambling at the end.

I know lots of you are on vacation this month and next month. It's ok if you want to stay on the team even though your reading might take a little pause. I'm cool with it. This team has been relaxed and low pressure, yet we continue to rack up those points. :)

We used it for spells, but I'll replace it with a different book and shift yours for X.
No X. Can anyone remember an X character from their recent books?Otherwise we will need 1 X title, author, series, or character to fill that slot.
If no one else can find something, I have 2 that I haven't read yet.
I'll place the Q and X first (hope we have both!) and then start with the primary character spell outs since they are the most points.Same strategy Jenny used for our spells.
In the meantime, read vowels, R's, L's and N's!

That sounds good, Devann! I’m hoping we can piece it all together as a team. We have great readers so we have LOTS of banked books to choose from. I just need to go grab my computer when I’m home and start moving things around.

I'm going to try to fill in letters with the books we haven't used yet first (duh!) and then we can all work together to finish the letters that are still missing.If anyone wants to help, that would be awesome.
Good morning, Slytherins! Banked books are the books we have completed prior to the start of the TWT but not used for Quidditch, Spells, or Classes. But the good news is we have a new challenge to work on!
Introducing...CHARACTERS
RULES
For each letter read books with titles, series names, authors (first or last names) that begin with letters that correspond to the word you choose. You also can use main or secondary characters (first or last names, and also nicknames). You may ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.)
IMPORTANT NOTE
These will be open for the entire rest of the challenge and can be done in no particular order. It will grant extra points for completion BUT it will also give negative points for lack of. You may use any unused books since the start of the challenge for completion.
