chapter 20

(view spoiler)[Sirius asking Harry to come live with him is the most heart-warming and heart-wrenching moment of the whole book for me. Both of them have been so lonely and only desire to have a family again, and they found that in each-other. For Harry it's a chance to have a true father figure, and for Sirius to recover a part of his best friend as well as to amend himself for his past errors. I've gone through my read books to see if any of them could fit for a class

can be used for Care for Magical creatures, as the cover features shapeshifter cubs

And I'm not sure if that can work but maybe we could use in Care for Magical Creatures for localization, as it's about the history of Canada and features maps. we could also add as an argument that at the very begining of western history of Canada, the country was prised for beavers pelts, i.e. little creatures, so it give us the their location :)

@Silje that's what I like about the book, (view spoiler)[it shows that even though they have won the war, they are also suffering through losses. It's not a Happy Ever After for everybody, and everything will not resolve itself once the war is over. (hide spoiler)]

@Lauri you might be interested to know that they are doing a buddy read for , which technically is a companion series to Harper Connelly, as we follow Manfred. I really want to read it, myself. I liked Manfred enough in Harper Connelly. And I've watched the tv adaptation, which I loved!
I'll try to join, if I have the time.

there's no date yet for the Cursed Child, and for Fantastic Beasts it's for the beginning of June. No exact date yet.

I find Sarah J Maas's book very easy to get into. Once I start one, I just continue reading without even noticing time passing. This one was no diffirent. And it being super short (in Sarah J Maas standard at least) I finished it in no time !

I just saw a BR opened for , starting somewhere at the beginning of june. Do we get extra BR points like for the Harry Potter BRs for this one too?

Chapter 5

I gave up on the audiobook. It wasn't doing it for me. I'm reading it on my tablet now.

(view spoiler)[I love the second theory as to why phones work during magic. Basically people believe so much that there phone will still work that magic does the trick and makes it work. What I like about this theory is that it implies that anyone is capable of magic, even though unconsciously, as long as he truly believes something will work.

I like that Kate lacks a filter, haha. She's very witty. Maybe its a trope in UF, but when its done well it's really enjoyable and adds some comic relief to the book.
Here's an example that cracked me up:
Nataraja's voice came like a whisper of scales on rough stone. "Kate."
"Nate."
He grimaced. "I'm not in the mood to be disrespected."
"No wonder. It's quite late for a man of your age."
and then Dereck adds "Aren't mood swings a sign of early senility?"
