35559 So... Surprisingly enough, I didn't find Beach Read to be suitable for the beach holiday prompt.. I know shocking.
So I read a quick one that fits much better, Silver Foxed.

If you can please do. I tried to read more chunky books, but if I push myself to hard now I feel like I'm gonna burnout, and I want to avoid the reading slump.

35559 I went through some of my books on my e-reader and found one where a character has an electric car. Incredibly hard to find, I must say. You can put my name on that prompt;

35559 It’s added to my shelf now. Sorry for that.
I also got it with Illumicrate. It also took me a while to read because I also thought I wouldn’t like it. It’s very very YA but I enjoy it. It’s more of a 3,5/5 stars though now that I think of it.
Illumicrate books are really pretty. But sometimes their picks can be a bit eh

I have that with Deborah Harkness too. haha. A massmarket with the cover I liked, then the second one in trade paperback, and the last one is another massmarket but with the ugly cover white with a sort of red smoke going through it. I mean, it's not really that ugly, just boring.

Mine too were bought second hand. But I still try to get matching editions. It certainly doesn't make it easy.
But I agree, changing the covers all the time like they are doing is annoying. Especially when it comes to such a huge collection of books like Agatha Christie's.
And I also hate when they change the cover style mid-way in a series. I had this happen recently, for a very recent series. When will publishers learn?
