My favourites from this round were If I Had Your Face and The Unwinding of the Miracle: A Memoir of Life, Death, and Everything That Comes After!

Yay, M! Gone with the Wind and Reamde are two very different books so I think I should be okay buddy reading them both.
The only Stephenson book I've read is Seveneves which I unfortunately did not enjoy that much but I'm looking forward to Reamde! When would you like to start reading? I would like to finish my current book - Steve Jobs but I don't have much longer to go so I can start anytime :)

I'm amazed at the number of books you have read this round. It's totally awesome. Well done everyone.
I'm a big believer in letting and telling teammates to read what they want for team challenges but unfortunately this time I'm going to have to ask almost everyone to choose longer books for round 2. (except for the team members that read their estimated # of books) Everyone seems to be having lots of fun (based on the chatter in the team thread) and I 'm sorry to ask this of most of you but we should try and stay on target.
Teams were made as evenly as possible based on the number of books each individual signed up for. (approximately 160/month) Our team has read more in two weeks (over 80 books per 2 weeks) then our estimated numbers. I know it's hard to estimate how many books you wil read in a month, circumstances change, etc but we should try and stick to that number in the next round. We can do that by choosing longer books and not only will we stick closer to our estimated book total we will garner more points for our team.
Fabulous team work, Team Pants! Keep up the great job reading ( and hopefully having lots of fun)"
Oh wow! That's a lot of books. I will read Reamde. It's 1,000 pages and is tagged games :) I have a few longer books on my TBR so this actually gives me a great excuse to get around to them sooner rather than later

Laura, I was actually planning on picking this book up soon! I'll buddy read it with you :)

I've put myself on a book buying ban because I really need to read the books I already own lol! I'm allowed to buy one book after reading 25 books from my owned TBR. Are there any challenges that are similar to this?
Thanks in advance :)
