updated my mini quest info in the read thread

Mini-quest for the books I've read for the challenge and I hadn't included in the mini-quest so far:

The Martian
#1: accidentally left behind, accidentally blows up the space station
#2: down on his luck...he's left behind on Mars
#3: two of the characters are former army officers; Mars sand on the cover
#5: the former space station is buried and the main character digs it up to find his way back to earth
#6: explorer of space I guess, they are discovering/exploring Mars
#8: life or death situation - the main character is left on Mars presumed dead after a massive storm
#10: grateful character - the main character is grateful the crew turns around and rescues him


Saints of the Shadow Bible
#1 features an accident in the first 2 chapters of the book
#11: secret group - Saints of the Shadow Bible
# 12: main character finds out what the secret group really is about

# 11: pedophile ring
# 12: main character is a journalist who discovers the truth about crimes

Playing with Fire or The Girl Who Played with Fire both also have fire on the cover. I'm planning on reading the first one, but the expiry for the boon will have passed by then. You guys all read so much faster and more than me :)

Yes, it is great, albeit not relaxing literature :)

Not the most typical book you'll find in this challenge. It's part of my job, but I thought I could up my page numbers this way :).

Five on a Treasure Island 183 pages. No current goals.

Mini quests: #2 (a treasure map is found), 4 (ship wreck), 5 (a dog is one of the main characters; the treasure is buried), 6 (main characters are adventurers), 10 (group of 5 on the cover), 12 (finding out the truth: kids found out the island was being bought for the treasure not to build a hotel). (and that for a kids' book!!)

Done, sorry I couldn't find the read thread. Tnx for reposting it. The book fits some of the mini challenge ones too :)
