Hi Carolyn, I perused your shelf but couldn't find Stateline nor Scarred on it. I don't think they are on your Tower Teams shelf, could you check please?

Hi Claire, Uprooted isn't shelved on your Tower Teams shelf. Could you please check? Danku !
Hope you enjoyed the book a bit, I read it last year and thought it was interesting and one of the better YA books I've read.

Glad you unexpectedly enjoyed A Gentleman in Moscow, Beth ;)! Always nice when that happens.

Sorry for being so quiet lately, work was crazy last week, luckily it’s better now :)
So my kindle broke last Friday, I couldn't turn it on anymore. I purchased a new one which means that in the meantime I’m using the kindle application on my phone however it gives me a headache after prolonged reading. Looking forward to have my new e-reader.
Regarding the Rachel Caine challenge, I’ve read the first book Ink and Bone with this group as a BOM in March 2016 but it didn’t really impress me (honestly I can’t remember much about the book).
I’m currently working on

Hi Abir, our spreadsheet is currently not retrieving this book. It has something to do with the read date, could you please check if you indicated a read date?

Hi Rachel, thank you for pointing this out, I checked and I don't see any 'finished/read date' for this book. Could you please check again. It's correctly on your Tower teams shelf, however, you have a duplicate of this book on your shelf; you may delete the other one if you wish to do so.

Winter Rose by Patricia A. McKillip
Sorrow and trouble and bitterness will bound you and yours and the children of yours...
Some said the dying words of Nial Lynn, murdered by his own son, were a wicked curse. To others, it was a winter's tale spun by firelight on cold, dark nights. But when Corbet Lynn came to rebuild his family estate, memories of his grandfather's curse were rekindled by young and old - and rumours filled the heavy air of summer.
In the woods that border Lynn Hall, free-spirited Rois Melior roams wild and barefooted in search of healing herbs. She is as hopelessly unbridled - and unsuited for marriage - as her betrothed sister Laurel is domestic. In Corbet's pale green eyes, Rois senses a desperate longing. In her restless dreams, mixed with the heady warmth of harvest wine, she hears him beckon. And as autumn gold fades, Rois is consumed with Corbet Lynn, obsessed with his secret past - until, across the frozed countryside and in flight from her own imagination, truth and dreams become inseparable...

Summers at Castle Auburn by Sharon Shinn
As a child, Coriel Halsing spent many glorious summers at Castle Auburn with her half-sister-and fell in love with a handsome prince who could never be hers. But now that she is a young woman, she begins to see the dark side of this magical place...

The year is 1348. The Black Plague grips the country. In a world ruled by faith and fear, nine desperate strangers, brought together by chance, attempt to outrun the certain death that is running inexorably toward them.
Each member of this motley company has a story to tell. From Camelot, the relic-seller who will become the group's leader, to Cygnus, the one-armed storyteller . . . from the strange, silent child called Narigorm to a painter and his pregnant wife, each has a secret. None is what they seem. And one among them conceals the darkest secret of all--propelling these liars to a destiny they never saw coming.

Yesterday evening I went to Hans Zimmer's concert with my sister. We had a great time. However I went to bed at 1:30AM and kept hitting the snooze button this morning. Completely drained now!
Btw I volunteered to write discussion questions for Flame in the Mist, hopefully I get picked :)

I volunteer to write discussion questions for Team Revenge of the Sith.

I don't remember but somewhere it was described as 'reminiscent of The Three Musketeers' and I was immediately sold. I'm expecting lots of adventure, intrigue and plotting with a dash of romance. At least I hope so :)

It has to be 6 months ago. From to page rules:
"Re-reads" will be allowed, if it has been six months since you have read the book. This includes listening to the audio version, if you've already read the book.
I hope that answers your question :)

*I will update the discussion dates later once they're announced.
Edit: Updated
It's a good selection in my opinion, glad these won. I will try to join 2 of them: Flame in the Mist and Traitor's Blade (has been on my wish list for a while). Not too big a fan of YA but Flame in the Mist sounds interesting. What about the rest of the team? Did the one you voted for won?

I finished

Thank you for the recommendation, Vanessa! Sounds interesting, I will definitely check that one out. There are some really good indie books out there, I especially enjoyed The Emperor's Edge series.
