Hey Team! We are in need of a BEATER to fill in tomorrow for our Hufflepuff QUIDDITCH team. It would be for 24 hours, as we can switch out after then. I am unavailable tomorrow and can take back over the next day.

It is INTENSE and you would be reading for SPEED! In all honesty it's not for the faint of heart... But if you would like to do it , it can be a lot of fun! The girls currently playing would be helpful in guiding. (I believe Suzanne will be back and playing as well)

I'm proposing a question here. Does the defending beater have to Match the original book page count or the attacking beater's page count?
I'm posting here to keep us all on the same page (wink wink).

On the spreadsheet to the right , I put whether or not they can be used. I would err on the side of NOT if you're unsure. I am able to only use books that did not impact the other team. In other words a book that the other beater beat me to. I went back through the feed to try to see which ones fell short, and "think" I have them correct. Most eventually made an impact, either slowing a chain or relieving a chaser. 2 can be used again in spells or classes ~ Children of the Salt Road and Heat.

I finished my turquoise cover today, in between Quidditch matches. I’ve read a bunch today but have found they can’t be used in Spells or Classes (unless an unsuccessful attack/defense) . But we still get credit for the book.

Hopefully Sophie can be released to get the snitch tomorrow !
