That's the right term! You are just to the north of us! I'd love to visit more of Canada, it's such a gorgeous country. I've only been to Vancouver back when a passport wasn't required and I was visiting Seattle and the PNW. You have some amazing National Parks in your large country.

Colleen - I hear the audiobooks of HP are AMAZING, although I haven't listened to them myself (the waiting list at the library is sooo long, but I have considered joining Audible just to get all the HP audiobooks a month at a time for less than buying them regularly :) It could be fun for you and your 8-year-old to listen to the audio version while following along with the book. I've heard the narrator really makes it come alive!

I've started listening to audiobooks with the little girls I nanny (6 and 3) while we color, and it's been so fun seeing their excitement for audiobooks!

I'm very excited for you to read them for the first time! I'm so jealous. I recently helped a friend read them all (with some cajoling and providing her with the books), and it was so fun to watch her experience it for the first time as an adult!

Question for those of you in multiple challenges: Do you use the same book if it works for different challenges (obviously not within the same challenge)? Like say two separate challenges you are in both require a "T" book for a spell-it-out, do you read two different ones or carry the same book for both? I'd like to join in more challenges, but have been pondering this question for a while.

35559 Thanks for getting our group set up and organized! This is also my first team challenge, but am very much looking forward to it! I'm from Minnesota, USA (just learned another Draco teammate is from MN too, small world!) and recently graduated from college with a degree in Kinesiology (exercise science). I'm working currently before heading back for my masters and potentially PhD in the coming years. :) My book interests vary wildly, and I'm always trying to get into new genres. Recently started working on more fantasy/sci-fi genre and am loving all the options I was overlooking previously without this genre!

Me too! I get different houses every time I take a sorting quiz, but once I saw I was on Team Draco, I was not disappointed! He gained my respect in the Half-Blood Prince and kept it ever since. I was also older when I got to the later books, so that probably played a factor in understanding the "bad" characters compared to when I was a young child. :)
