35559 I'm going to start Ugly Love tonight and that could work for 112 or 145 if no one else finishes something that fits sooner.

Okay, I was reading it wrong and thought it was putting the series as a whole, not just putting off one book in it. My bad!

35559 Oh, so it has to be the first in the series? Not any book? Dang. I have so many series I've started and not finished, I thought I'd be able to find something. lol.

35559 Does it have to be a book we haven't read yet? I mean, I'd been "putting off" reading the Grisha Trilogy for a while and then someone mentioned Six of Crows, but I wanted to read the Grisha Trilogy first. I think the second book hasn't been used for a goal, but I'm in the middle of the third already, so I don't know if that'd count.

35559 I plan on reading the other two and volunteered for DQs on one, but not Winter since I'm not caught up with the series.

35559 I think I'm reading it the same as you, Rose. That you can't participate more than a month AFTER the start date. But it doesn't matter if you start before as long as it was after TT started on November 7th. Does that seem accurate? Or way off? Wording is always fun to figure out. lol.

35559 It sounded to me like you could answer the DQ's as well as long as you read it during the TT challenge and not before it! But maybe I'm reading it wrong and just trying to get us more points, haha! (:
35559 I'd like to volunteer to write DQs! I'm with Team Lir.

35559 Also, I was on one of the threads and a mod said that if you've read any of the BOMs before you can still write DQs for points and if you read it during the challenge period, you can participate in the DQs for the points. Just in case anyone read them already and didn't know. (:

35559 We can do more than one BOM in a month, right? I'm planning on participating in two of those.

35559 I would say yes, since it looks like a wreath and I'd call those Christmas Bells. But that's just me!

35559 Makes sense! So the best thing to do is to wait until dates are announced before I start reading anything just to be safe?

35559 For BOM, do you have to sign up if you don't write discussions or do you just post your answers to each set of Q's? Also, do you have to read the book in the time frame? I mean, could I participate if I've already read I book or if I start a January book tomorrow? I've never participated in BOM before.

35559 Awe, dang, sorry! I hadn't realized that it'd been used for a goal after I read it, I'll have to pay more attention. Will A Christmas Carol work for future 25 Days ones? I only ask because I thought there was a rule where you have to star the book on or after the day the goal is posted, but maybe I'm wrong! We can still save it, though, for other goals either way.

35559 So, for goal 112 since it says "main genre" list on the first page on GR, does that mean it has to be in that in that section BEFORE you click "see more shelves?" And is different from 113 which is being on the first page of the top shelves? I just want to clarify if that makes any sense. Haha.

And the book I read already 99 Days has New Adult listed as a main genre if I understand that all correctly.

Also, I just read A Christmas Carol which could work for the before 1900 goal, but I see Stacey is working on it so if we don't count it that's totally fine, it could be there for future goals.
