Yay to the official start! Summer is crazy at work, so I may not be around to chat a whole lot (especially since I hate using the app to comment) but I'll check in once a week to post a book or say hi so you know I'm still around.

I enjoyed them up until about book 5 or 6 I think it was and that's when it started to go downhill. Now I'm on 10 and the plot has changed so much and there's been zero development in their relationship in the sense of actually communicating and acting like adults. It's... frustrating.

And you know, I never thought about that! I love the book so much I didn't give a second thought to the cliffhanger! lol. I'd drive myself crazy on the island with that choice!

I'm a little late answering these since I hate posting comments from the app on my phone, but i figure better a little late than never!

What are you Currently reading? Do you love it, hate it, or feel bluh about it so far?
I'm currently reading The Curse of Tenth Grave and I'm bleh about it. Which makes me so sad because I used to LOVE this series, but the last few books have been disappointing...

What is your Favourite Colour?
Purple!

What are your favourite TV shows?
I watch a lot of shows, but my favorites would probably be Law and Order: SVU, The Originals, This Is Us, Parks & Rec, and The Walking Dead.

What is your favourite movie/s?
I love so many! But my top are The Sound of Music, Breakfast Club, Jurassic Park, and Pride and Prejudice

Do you have any pets? What are they?
I have two troublesome tortie cats. I adore them.

What's your preference: ebook or hardback/paperback?
For ease of reading, I prefer eBooks because it's lighter to carry my Kindle. But I love hardbacks for looks and when I have the money.

Who is your all time favourite Author?
I feel like I can't answer this because my answer is always changing and there are SO MANY authors that I love.

If you where stuck on a deserted island, what 3 books would you have with you?
Pride and Prejudice, A Court of Mist and Fury, and Prisoner of Azkaban

Again, I feel like this is a question hard for me to answer because my mind is always changing when I watch different movies/shows and interviews.

I did see it! I enjoyed it, though wish it had been more focused on Newt and had less of the Grindelwald plot. I haven't read the book yet, but I did buy it. I couldn't resist!

Question for the captains - though I can ask in the Q&A as well if it's not known - last time I did the TT challenge, in the spreadsheet there was a list of mini-goals that were worth a couple points. Things like "Read a book written by a female author" or "Read a book with magic" - do we know if they are going that again or is this challenge purely reading?

Hi, everyone! I didn't realize the threads were opened until today, so I'm a bit late on my introduction!

I'm Emily and I live in the Midwest United States. I'm a full-time librarian and (hopefully, since I haven't been accepted yet) will be starting grad school for a master's in Library and Information Science in the Fall!

I've seen all the Star Wars movie and love them, but I wouldn't say I'm super knowledgeable in all the little details and trivia. Harry Potter, on the other hand, I could answer anything and everything!

I read just about anything, though reading nonfiction is a rare occurrence because I have a hard time staying focused on it. My favorite, though, is YA Fantasy and I am a total sucker for a cute, cheesy romance - though my favorites of those tend to be NA rather than YA.

I participated in the last Tower Teams and I loved it because it allows you to the freedom to read whatever you want and is great for anyone no matter if they read 1 book a week or 5 books a week. I'll check in as often as I can and would love to chat, but I work a lot and if I'm not working, I'm reading or sleeping. But I will do whatever I can to get us some good points!

If you ever want to chat about something with me, go ahead and add me as a friend and shoot me a message. I very easily get lost in threads and have a bad habit of not seeing things people say to me in them - so I promise I'm not ignoring you if I don't respond!
