I kind of love that they’re keeping the tournament a super secret! It’ll make the announcement more fun and surprising. I’m hoping to get a lot of reading done over the next two days since I don’t have work. Fingers crossed!

I'm working on adding my books to the "books read" thread and I'm wondering - for the spell letters, do you only want letters that can be used right now or should I just list everything relevant in case they can be used for something later on?Also, out of curiousity, how many Quidditch matches have there been so far? Hi, everyone!! I just got the message that I’ve been added to a team - yay!! I was hoping I’d get a chance to play. I’m a Hufflepuff, but will gladly support Gryffindor for this challenge!I’m off to bed right now as it’s late here and I have work in 8 hours, but I’ll brush up on the rules of this TT and update my TT shelf once I have the chance tomorrow.

DQ's May 28 - Chapters 53-6725. Did you guess the truth about Lazlo? What does this mean for the other hundreds of children that the Gods had and "disappeared"?
Yes! I actually didn't think it would be true and that perhaps the author was purposely misleading us to be tricky (cause the theory seemed crazy!) but I'm glad I was right. And I honestly think spreading the children out across the world is some plan the Gods had to perhaps take over - like something happened to their world, perhaps, and want to take over a new one.
26. Lazlo and Sarai wanted Minya to catch her without even thinking of the consequences. Is it a "life" if you have no body and your will is not your own?
I think not having a body in the typical sense doesn't impact whether it's a life - Sarai can touch and have feelings still. But the fact that her will is not her own? That's not a life. Even if Minya isn't actively controlling her, the fact that the possibility is always there wouldn't leave much room for Sarai to live her own way.
27. Any guesses for the next book? What would you like to see happen?
Obviously Minya is going to try to use Lazlo and Sarai to get revenge on the people of Weep. And who the hell knows what else because Minya is so unpredictable. I'd love to learn the true name of Weep - and for Sarai and Lazlo to get their happily ever after. I don't think that will be in Weep - there are too many bad memories even if the Godspawn aren't the same as their godly parents - but somewhere
28. Final thoughts on the book? Will you read the next one? Will you read more of Liani's work if you haven't already?
I loved it. The writing was beautiful, though a little too elaborate and a bit slow at times. But I'll 100% be reading book two. I'm not going to rush to read anymore of her work, there are so many things I need to read first, but I'd add her other work to my TBR.
Just wanted to give a heads up that I have a busy week or so coming up at work, so if I don't update I'm still around - just crazy busy! Didn't want anyone to think I was bailing. (:
