I would prefer Ender's Game because it has been on my TBR forever

From what I can see, there are a few books on Audible plus that start with Essay, but as Laura said also all are non-fiction.
The Essay is one that is a novel. I would be willing to read it is someone takes Ender's Game off my hands and no one else has anything they want to read.

Anybody else wondering what the Mods have in store for us that the Resource piles from ..."I think that might be it, but they might throw another curveball next round.

Oh no! I suggested that we leave Defense unprotected. Looks like that was the wrong decision.
Round 1 has endedI have moved all unfinished books from Round 1 onto the Round 2 spreadsheet.
Round 2 has begun!

I was trying to get
The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen done before the end of the round, but I'm not going to make it in time. I'm still planning on finishing it today.

Okay, great!
I am around now to keep an eye on and finalise the spreadsheets.

I finally graduated today and presented my thesis, now that that's out of the way, I'll be reading books to fill the void where I should've been studying.
I noticed..."Congrats Kamaria!
Of course, focus on your books. Our supply drops have been sorted for Round 1 so you don't need to worry about that and the arena battle planning will continue for another week so there is time for you to get involved in that if you want to.

I've got it on hold now. It doesn't say when I will get it though, but I am first in line so hopefully it would be before week 2 of the battles.
Of course, if someone else has something they want to read then they can have priority as I have already claimed one.

Ender's Game has been on my TBR for a long time. And Libby has a copy. But I said I shouldn't claim anymore...
Quick ReminderAnyone still reading The Hunger Games needs to have it finished by tomorrow and participate in the discussion 3 times for the bonus points.
The Malevolent Seven is the day after.
From the spreadsheet, it doesn't look like anyone is still reading them, but just in case anyone is and haven't added it to the spreadsheet yet, this is a reminder.

I probably won't volunteer for any more battle books unless we are desperate and I find a shorter book. I don't want to risk not finishing books on time.

I also found
Easterleigh Hall which I would actually prefer to read and still leaves them with nice letters. And as a bonus is longer.

I found
East of the Sun which would give them nice letters and it is a decent length so nice points for us.
Laura wrote: "So the mods just announced that captains need to have the spreadsheet finalized for the round within 1 hour of the round closing. That will 6 in the morning for me! Hopefully Keely or Yasmine will ..."It will be midday for me so I can make sure I am around for any final books.

It has been on my TBR list forever so I would be in to read it. The 20th also works for me.

Preeti's A Most Efficient Murder book would fit the task which has already been finished so we could swap it in for your book if you want, Yasmine.
