I fell so sorry for Gale having to work in the mines, 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. He is so used to the freedom of the woods, it's like trapping a wild animal. It is expected, of course, it is the thing he does for his family. I also think he has a right to a certain amount of openness from his best friend, & he handles the nothing he receives from Katniss quite well, I think. If she had ever paid attention to anything he said about the Capitol, Katniss might not have been quite so ignorant of what to expect.I don't believe Katniss & Peeta would have cut off their relationship over the previous 6 months, 10 seconds thought would have told anyone that the Capitol would be watching. I know Katniss is a self-centred idiot but not all the people around her are. I always thought Katniss & Haymitch were extremely short-sighted in not including Peeta in any of their discussions & strategy.

There's a few starting with Engender/ing, such as Engendering America: A Documentary History, 1865 to the Present, then you have Vengeance in Death.
Elisabeth wrote: "I saw one in my searching that would be very mean— The Road from Raqqa: A Story of Brotherhood, Borders, and BelongingProbably interesting though."
Ooh! QQA would be nasty.
Oades Paris 2024? Oadenol's Codex? The Road of Lost Innocence: The True Story of a Cambodian Heroine? NCE would be hard to find.
The Road to Oz - I suppose there are books starting with ooze.
The Road to Bittersweet - EET?
Not that I can access any of these.
Shelby wrote: "Girl it's yours if you want it. You down for me to send them that as our choice?"Sure, I'll read it.
Kaley wrote: "I think they're allowed to use as many letters as needed (as long as it's a minimum of 3) but the goal is to use fewer because if each team completes their own 10 books it's the fewest overlapping ..."Ah! I see. Then I suppose Clubbed to Death would be ok, but that old favourite Lubricating Grease Manufacturing Technology would be better 🤣
Here's a good one but who'd want to read itLubrication Fundamentals
or, Lubbers Afloat - impossible to find
another great one - Lubricating Grease Manufacturing Technology
& of course - Lubrication for Industry 😂
more erotica, no doubt Lube Job, Lube Job, Lube Jobs: A Woman's Guide to Great Maintenance Sex
I'd be happy to read Clubbed to Death.I suppose that would give them an easy 5 letter start with 'death' - I'm not sure how many letters you can use.
There're lots of books starting with Club or The Club - mind you, many of them are erotica.
Vicky wrote: "There's a countdown on the Timers tab of the spreadsheet! It automatically updates so it's been easier - but we could put something at the top of the thread too if you'd prefer?..."Of course there is! I remember you saying that earlier but I forgot all about it. On the ss is fine just as long as I don't forget 🤦😖
My last couple are in. Can we get a countdown at the beginning of this thread so I don't have to keep working out when the round starts & ends? For the next rounds, anyway.

I'll finish this in time.

I should get my 2 done in time.
