Melissa wrote: "Has anyone read anything good yet since TT began?"I just finished the Iron king this morning and liked it :) I'll explain the tasks when I get home from school.
Finished my first Discworld book, yay! Here are only the Bingo tasks 🥵
If you don't want to be spoiled for The Colour of Magic I recommend not reading these 😅
A3 - the chest is on the cover and also a big part of the book
B1 - Racewind screams when he sort of teleports or something?
B6 - Funny book, has humor MPG. I laughed several times.
C2 - Coins on the cover plus a lot early in the book.
C3 - There are dragons in the book. Some of them are a little transparent!
C6 - Death rides a white horse.
D3 - They are close to the rimfall in the last par t of the book.
D5 - The turtle and the Discworld is explained in the start of the novel. Is mentioned throughout the book as well.
E5 - Death takes one ninth of a cats life in the book. <-- I would recommend using this one because it seems kinda rare?
G6 - Footnotes early in the novel.
H1 - Camera on the cover and used a lot in the novel.
H7 - The city they are in in the beginning is called Ankh
Welcome, Sehrish! It's so cool that you're from India. I was supposed to go there last semester for an internship, but it got cancelled because of Covid. I really, really want to go to India sometime in the future though😍And don't worry. I'm also in love with Kaz.

Finished Everything, Everything
C5 - butterfly on the cover
105 - the love interest writes both limericks and haikus to the MC.
232 - They travel to Hawaii
240 - There's a moist in the text!
The rest of the tasks are on the SS and are self-explanatory. If they are needed I will provide an explanation :)
I have a question about some of the tasks. There are some tasks that are about things being on the cover. On a lot of the discworld books the cover continues to the back of the book. Does the back of the book count? Like for example on the backside of moving pictures there are two dogs. But there is only one dog on the front. This task is also a part of the moving picture tasks on the SS, so I'm guessing it has to be okay?😂Sorry for the rambling. I hope you understand what I mean😂
Melissa wrote: "The BOM for June Polls are out now. They were in the Newsletter from April 30. Voting is until tomorrow. :)"Wow, I totally missed this newsletter! Thanks for the reminder 😍hopefully one or two of the books I already have on my shelf will win!
Finished
:)Here are the explanations for the bingo tasks:
A5 - There's a carnival and it describes dancers with hats containing feathers. (I would recommend using this because I'm reading more vampire books 🙃)
B4 - Lots of vampires.
D6 - There's a gambling den of some sorts that features members playing chess.
Btw, I'm currently reading the colour of magic, the first Discworld book, and it has like half the bingo board in the first 10 pages😂
Maddy wrote: "Do we have penalties for going over the number of books we signed up with?"Oh I hope not :( Some months I read 5 books and some months I read 20 books. It was so hard to pick a number :(

Yes imagine😍
I finished a book.
I'm just gonna explain the Bingo tasks here, and if you change it to one of the other tasks I can explain them later :)
B4 - The love interest is a vampire. B5- The book takes place in Alaska, and it is the first time the main character sees snow. There's also a snowball fight. C3 - There are dragon shapeshifters. D6 - When we first meet the love interest, they are talking about the chessboard they're standing next to. E6 - There are also wolf shapeshifters. F7 - And witches.

Of course. It fits into the frying pan because the main character is not the greatest cook, and there is a scene in the book where she tries to cook breakfast. They have to put the frying pan outside😂 (been there, done that). She eventually gets better at cooking. The blackboard is because she is an elementary school teacher :)

I added it to the SS, and I hope it looks okay 😊
I have a question regarding the MPG tasks. I know it stands for main page genre after a little googling. But is it the whole list of 10 genres on the Goodreads page or is it limited to a certain number? :)
Do you still want us to post the books here, as well as in the tracking SS? Or is it enough to just put it right into the SS? :)
