I'm here! I FINALLY finished a book. Sorry team, it's been a struggle. Hopefully I can contribute a bit more - you all are doing awesome!

Ugh! I am not reading very fast lately. I hope it’s no big deal, but let me know. I’m feeling very guilty that I may not be able to contribute much! I still average about 5 books per month so feel like I should be okay but I just don’t know.
Do you participate in other challenge groups besides than this one?I've done the Uno Challenge that I really like, Tower Teams, also some individual ones, but the groups are a lot of fun as long as it's low pressure,
Do you usually pre-plan the books you are going to read in any way?
Yes - I go to 3(!) RL book clubs so am dependent on those schedules, otherwise I also have to keep up on won books and getting books off my horrendous TBR. So if people are into planning their reads around this challenge, believe me, I won't mind.
Do you read more than one book at a time?
Only 1 print and 1 audio at a time.
How are you doing on your Goodreads yearly challenge?
I am 10 ahead of schedule! (out of 72) Audio has helped a lot in getting my reads read.
What's your favorite reading spot?
#1 is bed. I also like to read on my porch & at the park with my kids. I listen to audio while watching their sports events (helps keep me from getting too anxious, lol). I like the beach or backyard too. I also like to read out in public and yes, also have all the drinks (coffee, etc.) I want.
Do you like any favorite reading snacks or drinks?
Not really - but I have been known to relax with an alcoholic drink & a book.....
Fun getting to know you all!

I love seeing all the holiday comments and I agree with you all. Vicki - I used to agree with you about the older kids, but when a friend pointed out that she would rather see the teenagers trick-or-treating vs. gangbanging it changed my mind. Childhood is over so quickly I can't begrudge them some sweets. The holidays also make the last quarter of the year fly by so quickly. Soon as we know we'll be ringing in another year - 2019! - and one of my absolute favorite holidays is New Year's Eve - parties, new beginnings and resolutions.

I don't do audible. I just check books out through my library system - it's so great...:)
Hi! - I'm Colleen from Lakeville, MN with hubby, 3 kids (2 boys/1 girl) and read pretty much anything as time allows. Audio books help me on my commute and my running. Looks like a great & fun challenge!
Suzanne - I loved Wicked and need to continue the series. Hoping to get the second one read yet this year.

If anyone knows of one like this or the Uno challenge (on the Perks of Being a Book Addict group), let us know!
I won’t finish another book by tomorrow. Good luck all who can! This has really been fun and I’ve read more than my average. I’ll be curious to see how it all plays out in the end!
